One of the main things that has helped me so much in the last year and a half is I go dancing every Wednesday night at undergroundsf in lower haight. I pray to my favorite DJ, Cheb I Sabbah, and give my offering in sweat. the vibe is mellow and friendly and crowd is like a little family that gathers ... One guy has been dancing to DJ Sabbah for 17 years nearly every week!! There are lots of people that have lost count of how long they have been going ... My good friend has been going for over 4 years every week ... 98% of the people that go on wed night are there to dance and one of the best things is there are hardly ever any sleazy guys trying to grind all-up-on your ass while your dancing ... I got back from Bman on Wed morning to find my kittygirl very sick. I brought her into the veterinary hospital where I work ... she got the best care ... After 5 days of IV fluids, anitibiotics, a blood transfusion and lots of inconclusive tests ... we think she had cancer or dry FIP(a terminal cat disease). Either way she was going to die. So, last night I took her home and she purred while slept next to me. Her breathing was worse by morning, she was uncomfortable and wouldn't eat the salmon I got for her. So I did the best thing I could do for her. I euthanized her at home. I got her when she was 5 weeks old. Goo blossomed into the perfect little princess kitty that could do no wrong ... unless salmon was involved. She slept on my pillow next to me everynight, fetched paper balls, brought me things she killed, would meow back if her name was called ... loved me when it felt like no one else did. She even had her own song. I miss her already :( My friend Goo has a real tattoo she always knows just what to do she looks through her hair like she doesn't care what she does best is stand and stare she can play the drums set too and the cats say: "hey Goo what's new?"' hey Goo what's new? my friend Goo just says: "Mew, Mew." my friend Goo just says: "Mew, Mew." Moving

So, I'm moving out of the warehouse tomorrow... I'm a bit melancholy. Little did I know when I moved in that I would only call it home for a month and a half and then it turn into a place of great sadness. I had such great hope for the future at the warehouse, for Mike & I, for our friends, for the creative energy that was to be summond here. My how things have changed.

I got the keys last night. David, the rad landlord, helped me pull up the old nasty carpet last night ... so I can refinish the hardwood floors before I move ... in exchange for two weeks off the rent. The kitchen floor could use replacing so, he said if I do a good job on the wood floors I can tile the kitchen next. :) The wall are freashly painted a soft white and I get to paint the contrasting trim.

I had put posts on CL to sell some stuff. a 1940's bath tub, a set of beautiful old Haviland china and a table saw and band saw. I had immediate responses to all three! The china was going to sell for $800 The tub for $300 and the two saws for $200 Oh my god! too good to be true! There is the money for me to pay the deposit for my new apartment! but I though about it ... read more and checked out the scam alert on CL. Thankfully I didn't cash anything. the $800 for the china and $300 for the tub were both scams :( I have two people interested in the saws ... but that's not nearly enough for me to move just yet... and I thought I was going to be out of this hell hole the weekend too ... damnit.

Some days I feel fine, almost happy. I know I'm going to be okay but last few days I've been down. I'm finding some people that I thought were my friends were only including me in their plans so they could flirt with or fuck Mike. I don't get invited to go out and no one calls me to talk or see how I'm doing. It just feels like no one cares. Geez, I sound pitiful ... I can't wait until the holidays are over.

of hiding, that it. I've felt sorta anti-socal in the last few months. Stressed about lots of things got me down and I didn't feel very fun to be around. So I stayed home. Speaking of home ... We've moved!!! Mike, I and two other friends moved into a warehouse space in Oakland ... it's so cool ... lots of space to make messes in :) ... hmmm, so I guess I will be staying home about the same amount ... just for different reasons, haha There will be a house wierding party Saturday Nov 12th @ 8pm. Sometimes, new hair is my catalyst for life changes. I always feel better after getting my hair done; it doesn't look much different than it usually does. slightly brighter colors ... slightly different cut ... but then again... My hair grows almost an inch a month so, thankfully, it looks much different than it did this morning :)
