Total self-sufficiency is something I feel everyone should experience. I'm not talking about doing acid and sharing a porta-potty in the desert either. I mean walking out into the wild with everything you need to survive. It takes a while, but you begin to feel that many assumptions you have made about life only hold up when you are surrounded by people who agree with you. I think most people would be surprised at what they're capable of doing to survive. It's just that majority of us like to pretend the question of survival is solved, that it doesn't rely on a delicate system of manners and prosperity. I live for times when we can drop those structures for awhile. To set something big on fire and howl with glee. To get shitty drunk and headbutt someone for no reason. To elaborately plan, construct, and blow up something beautiful. To not take pictures. To say, "This is gonna be fucking cool, someone hold my beer."

Generator for Rent?

I'm looking to rent a good quiet generator for the week of the 4th. Anyone interested in renting one to me? Only requirement is that it fits in my somewhat roomy trunk (crossing my fingers and hoping someone has a honda EU2000i or similar generator.)

Sick again..

So this is my 3rd bout with strong antibiotics in the past 6 weeks. I have an infected lymph node so I'm not contagious if anyone wants to come hang out. I'm goin stir crazy stuck inside all the time. Hope you're all doing better than I am :)
