So, its been a while. Here I am. Still living in New York. Finding my niche in the Open Mic/Art Star/Performance Art downtown community. I find myself making new friends with names that could be confused for playa names (ie: Touching You, Punky, Vox). Wishing I could change the world by dancing the bad out of it. By dancing happiness into angry people. I try, every night.

Can I just say that I live in New York, thousands of miles from the little bit of family I still have, so I make a commitment to make my friends the family I have here. And recently they have sucked. Like seriously, they have been really slacking in the quality-human-being-department. I get it, you can only count on your self...but really, step up. I need some quality, reliable, good friends who are willing to be family.

It's true. I am jealous of my friends in relationships. Mostly because it makes me the constant third wheel. It takes away from the time we had together. It makes it a "we", not just the two of us. It's always this feeling of being in a room with two people who could pounce on top of each other if only you werent in the room. I'm really just in the way. I am their birth control.
