Hi everybody,

Some of you already know that there's a baby on the way for me, but we are in troubled waters.

While vacationing in Hawaii I started having mild cramping that would come and go, but finally stayed long enough to for me to be worried. The advice nurse told me to go to the ER - luckily there's a Kaiser here on Oahu - where we spent pretty much all day getting tests and ultrasounds.

So after nearly 6 years of slaving away in restaurants and clubs, it finally happened last night: I was invited up to dance on someones table.

I feel so grown up. =)

Well it's been an interesting year: Nick and I moving in together, really taking school head-on, and lots of dancing. I also let go of teaching preschool permanently, which was a little scary because I was always using it as a safety net when I started thinking stupid things like I wouldn't be able to finish school, too scared to start school, will be horrible at teaching "real" school, blah blah blah.
