So after nearly 6 years of slaving away in restaurants and clubs, it finally happened last night: I was invited up to dance on someones table.

I feel so grown up. =)

Well it's been an interesting year: Nick and I moving in together, really taking school head-on, and lots of dancing. I also let go of teaching preschool permanently, which was a little scary because I was always using it as a safety net when I started thinking stupid things like I wouldn't be able to finish school, too scared to start school, will be horrible at teaching "real" school, blah blah blah. So I want to keep the ball rolling in writing this stuff down...all of my adventures in belly dancing. This one is particularly special, though, because I really can't imagine what my life would be like without dance, or without Nick as a part of it.
