more on light.

Plants live in the light. But they are more primitive than you. They use the light directly rather than depending on reflections. You live in the light too, but your mind won’t see that because it depends on consistent reflection. With reflection comes distortion. What is rejected you see, and that which is accepted you miss. When something appears to be green, it has accepted all colors but green. Isn’t it a clue to the instability, immaturity, and the reflective nature of the mind that people call things what is rejected? You do the same with yourself. You identify yourself as what you reject: your limits, your ends and your means.

You become the light when light can pass through you unencumbered. When it cannot, you become an object. You become an argument for thingness. It isn’t pretty, it isn’t fun, but it is the nature of the mind that since it is nothing, it can settle for anything. It is a nothing called anything, and that is the worst kind. As you discover that you are NOT your thoughts, your mind changes its clothes and calls itself something else. You listen to its calls, you watch it change its clothes and you get embarassed. You become profoundly self conscious. You can’t be this embarrassed, so you stop looking. COnsidering how fast you really are, reflection is the only way you can even attempt consistency. You see light, but only know reflections. You are afraid of the dark but have called the light “dark” and the dark “light.” Defined by the dark, you become the dark.

There was once a man who moved so fast he left his shadow behind. Coincidentally. at the loss of his shadow, he moved fast enough that he could no longer determine who he was. He never stayed in one place long enough to kill off all the alternatives.

When you move, your place or position sometimes becomes important. WHen you move all the time, space dissappears because you are never anywhere long enough to stop and look at some other place.Einstein discovered that when you move fast enough, time stops. It is only in your slowness that time and space provide you the minutes and square feet neccessary to build your illusion. It is illusion because it takes no space and no time, since neither exist.

Illusion is the place at which you discover where you stand when you stop seeing movement. Hold still for a moment and your mind holds to the moment for dear, or not-so-dear life. Let go and you rise unmercifully, and without meaning, to the top. Holding yourself under this top makes it almost impossible to breathe. You are a creature who lives and breathes light, and you are lurking in the dark. You toy with that which you aer so easily addicted to. You catch a glimpse of who you think you are, but you are too slow to really see yourself. A glimpse is all you have in mind. The mind is always ready to settle for less as long as it looks like more. Or as long as it looks long enough to waste some time.

It is ironic, but the very act of identification has replaced the light. You think calling something by name makes it that name. This is such a hollow representation offering so little satisfaction and sustenance that you have to repeat this process of name calling all the time in order to convince yourself that you got anything at all.”Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me” So name everything and you will never be hurt.

You live and breathe an analogy, not noticing that you are. You never have enough of anything, even problems. Because what you are attempting to get from things is not in them. You are starved. “There is gold in them thar hills!” but the hills remain in your past and in your future. Nothing at all will do, but you will not do nothing.

“I will just do nothing at all, if I ever get the time” you say, but there is so much to do first. You make vacations even busier than work.

Stretch. Really S T R E T C H. Close your eyes and look around you. See nothng. Exit your present location, illusion. Do so for a moment and you will be infinitely revealed. Sit, doing nothing and soon you will think nothing too. From here you can be anything. Let the light flow through you and you will become the illuminator. The only way to speed up sufficiently to join the light is to not move at all; moving slowly will not do. The faster you move from moving slowly, the obvious you make it that you will never get to light speed. Watch the objects and you will have become one. There is no real thing. No thing is real . Nothing is real. It is a joke- this life you think you lead while following along, but you have lost all of your senses. First to go was your sense of humour, and after that, every mattered too much, so you took it all seriously.

“Who are you?” said the owl, independent of your answer, hoping that if the wise old bird said it often enough, you would get the message that your answer didn’t matter and there would always be the question again. Who? Who? ………………….Who?

Plants and Light
Another thing is that plant interaction is beautiful on both the visible and the molecular level.

Your thoughts are wonderful as is your "eye" for beauty. You also have a fascination with light which you share with Isaac Newton and Einstein.

I look forward to reading more. ...Mark
