Recently I was told it was a new moon, which means "New Beginnings" and I thought "that is exactly the phase of life I am in right now, how appropriatte." Some what new to California, (1 year) I moved here by myself to follow a dream, live by the beach, to escape some of the closed minded ways of the south, and of course like a Gemini I crave change, and have to explore all possibilities. Away from my family and close friends, I have embarked upon a journey to find my trueself, to find what makes me happy, and though it's only been a short time it has been a wonderful realm of exploration, love, self discovery, realization, creativity, joy, and of course with any time of great discovery - many struggles and diffuculties. Man have I worked my ass off since I got here!

I feel that this journey has and will continue to make me a stronger, better, more caring and less judging person. Yet I do still have a long way to go; as do we all. How fortunate I have been that God has provided stepping stones for me every step of the way. Each one a little bit further from the last, but still reachable with a great big leap. I am making a personal goal for my self to motivate and uplift others along the way no matter how hard it is to not get caught up in my own shit, which is so hard to do some of the time. To not be judging or insensitive, or take things personally and to make the best of the situations I am put in, they are usually for the best, although they may not seem like it along the way.

A big thankyou goes out to everyone I have met along the way, especially at Burning Man and the members of Freedom Community. Everyone has treated me like family, the way it should be. So may we all continue to embark on this journey of life together-seperate, yet as ONE. Thank You! May we all shine brighter day after day!
