Zoe is the awesome. This girl has the mad skillz. She has mad talent too, she is wickedly hilarious, she is absolutely beautiful, she is sincere and she is a true, loyal and real friend that I always know I can count on. I have been lucky enough to have this lady in my life for several years now, and over those years, she has become one of my closest girlfriends. Damn tribe for being down most of today, I have been waiting all day for this.... HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS JENNIF!! Seriously, I am constantly stunned by how awesome she is. Over the last few years she has become one of my dearest, most treasured, most trusted, most valued girlfriends. She is so completely the awesome. I thank Senior Jeffe all the time for bringing her into our universe. I am totally in love with this woman and right fully so, if you already know her, I really do not need to explain, and if you do not, it only takes meeting her and you will love her too, really, she is that good. And today is her birthday!! Which, BTW, just happens to be exactly 6 months before my own, coincidence? Yeah, probably, but we still think it is kind of cool, so there ;P So happy, happy birthday darling. Can't wait to see you later tonight!! Fucking seriously bigtime YAY for Jennif!! 5 Year Tribe-a versary

Oh yeah, and today is my 5 year tribe-a-versary! Holy cow, what a 5 years it has been. I know tribe has had its ups and downs. It is not always perfect, etc, etc, but it is still my favorite online social network. It was 5 years ago that Mister Flintco told me all about this thing called tribe one weekend when monkey and I were up visiting for Barney's birthday and how I should join as a way to keep in touch with all of my SF friends, since I was still living in LA. Over the last 5 years I have gotten so much from this website. So many friends, events, silliness. I have been through relationships, good and bad, weird social dramas, my move here from LA and on and on... I heart tribe most of all. No other social network gives me what tribe has. The interaction, that is what I love the most. The real interaction with all of you. So yay for 5 years on tribe and for everything I have gotten from this site.

I hate to say it, but sadly, I had a feeling that Prop 8 would pass. Sadly we live in a bubble here in the Bay Area, and when you consider the rest of the state, yeah, I just had that sinking feeling that it would pass. Sorry, the deluded pessimist inside of me just new the crazy religious types and the people who live in fear and hate and anger in this state would vote yes on this and that added up, there sadly are probably more of them than there are of us. I was hopeful that if it did pass we would fight it as we have doen with similar bs Props like this in the past, and thankfully it looks like we are: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/11/05/BA3B13UM63.DTL It is sad that so many people bought the bs lies that the Yes on 8 promoters were selling and it sucks even more that they won by blatantly lying about what Prop 8 was about. For whatever horrible reason, gay bashing seems to be the new acceptable form of hate in this country, it is the new black, it is socially accpetable to openly hate and discriminate against the gay culture because your religion says it is ok, because your ignorance and fear tells you it is ok. Well, it is not ok. I could go on and on about this and how upset I am about this and my persoanl reasons for why this is such a hot button issue for me. It is clearly an issue that many of us are passionate about. Now I just hope that justice will be served as it has been in the past when we have faced such blatant discrimination, that it will be overturned and thrown out. Also, as another note, I am fascinated and horrified by the supporters of Prop 8, I have seen and heard of such unbelievably open aggression and violence from them. I have witnessed several incidents of people yelling in the streets at people holding 'No on 8' signs. One of them actually ran up on a sidewalk in their large F-150 truck yesterday at two of my girlfriends that were holding a 'No on 8' sign. I mean seriously? You feel that passionately and angry about this that you would run your truck up on a sidewalk and threaten the lives of two women in broad daylight? Really? WTF is wrong with you? This is not acceptable behaviour, that is a hate crime, that is assault, and it is not ok no matter how passionately you feel about it. Another friend got into a fight on bart because a yes on 8 supporter decided to pick on a girl who was covered in 'No on 8' buttons/signs/ what have you, this supporter of 8 fellow decided to start yelling at this poor girl and harassing her, so my friend stepped in to defend her and ended up in a fight, well, not much of a fight, the guy swung at him and he knocked him out cold in defense. But the point is, really? Why is it that people that support 8 are so openly aggressive and violent about it? Don't answer, that is a rhetorical question. And honestly, in their defense I have to say that I feel just about equally angry and aggressive when i see anything that says Yes on 8, but I am also a civilized human being that does not go around trying to assault people because they disagree with me... Anywho, this has been my 'Fuck even though I was sure it would probably pass, I am still pissed that it did and really disapointed in California for passing this bullshit and I seriously hope that it gets overturn and thrown out' rant. **end transmission**

I am so overwhelmingly proud of my country right now. When it was announced tonight that Obama had in fact won, I cried, seriously it hit me that hard. Thank you for restoring the faith that I have lost in this country over the last 8 years and for doing it with such a clear sweep. Thank you for giving me hope when I had honestly just about given up. Thank you for making me proud. Thank you for voting. Like he so eloquently said in his acceptance speech, we have a long road ahead and lots of work to be done. It is certainly not going to be easy, Bush and his cronies are leaving us with a huge, messy pile of crap, crap and more crap, but I believe in our ability to turn things around and make this country strong and healthy and amazing. This is the beginning of change. Positive, healthy, wonderful change. Today, as a country, we showed that we can all affect change and that we do care, now lets take that momentum and keep it moving forward. What an amazing and powerful moment. I can not wait to see how far we can go in these next four years. These are very exciting times.

**First a quick note: Thanks for all of the encouragement lately everyone, sorry I have been such a little stressed out monstergirl lately... I am still feeling pretty tense, but it will be ok. She had no substance, she spoke like a bad spokes model contestant on Star Search. The things she did say were all buzzwords and fluff. And i swear if I hear one more pundit say that she did a really great job based on how badly she has done previously, the whole 'wow, I was really worried but she did so much better than I thought she would so therefore I think she did great' bs, yeah, so, she did not completely implode and she demonstrated that she can be trained to spout rhetoric and buzzwords over and over but once again, that she has no idea what she is talking about, yeah, wow, what a great job!! Also, if I hear one more pundit say that she did better than Biden because she 'was so attractive' so help me... I do not want a fucking VP elected based on the fact that she is attractive or cute, are you fucking kidding me with that shit??? On the other hand, I was very impressed with Biden. He seemed genuine, sincere, experienced and knowledgeable. I think he handled her stupidity with grace and tact. He had substance, he knew what the hell he was talking about, he was able to improvise and rebut and did not just spout the same bs catch phrases ad nauseum. Seriously, if McCain/Palin actually win, after the last 8 years of Bush imposed hell, I swear, I will completely lose faith in the masses of this country once and for all. Please tell me you are not buying their pathetic bs and tripe America! Please prove to me that you are smarter than they are giving you credit for! Honestly, if I were a middle american 'joe six pack' type that she keeps reffering too (which BTW is so insulting to hardworking middle class america in my opinion), I would be offended that this is what they think I want out of a president and a VP!! My current song obsession that I can not listen enough right now... I so have to get the new album. They played a lot of songs from the new album this past weekend and I have been listening to them via youtube because I have not been able to get them out of my head... have I mentioned how unbelievably awesome Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are live? First Historic Image of Planet 3106 Trillion Miles From Earth

Thanks to the distortion-reducing power of the ALTAIR adaptive optics system on the Gemini North telescope in Hawaii, three University of Toronto scientists were able to capture images of the star 1RXS J160929.1-210524 from a distance of about 500 light years away. The image is believed to be the first ever of a planet in an alien solar system around a sun-like star. The discovery is made even more significant because the "planet" lies a tremendous distance away from its parent star—challenging currently accepted theories about star and planet formation. This time, its about how amazingly awesome my life is and how damn much I adore you people in my life. You all do know that you are what I love and treasure most in my world. My friends, you each bring so much wonderous joy, life and experience to my existence, really you do, you are what I value the most. So, yeah, tonight, I went to the Virgo dinner to celebrate my PRG's impending birthday as well as some other fine Virgos... Just to back-up, other than one not fun thing I had to deal with this week at work, overall, it is the best week I have had at work sense I don't know when. I worked just as hard this week as I usually do, but this week there was harmony and everything flowed and it was awesome and I am happy, so, good week at work. Also had a pretty good week of relaxing at home with Baz, having a wonderful dinner with a good friend one night, went to Miss Elliote's Bridal shower another night where I got to spend time with some of the most awesome women I know, and I got to spend some time with a cute boy, so yeah, overall, really good week for t-moto and now my weekend is kicked off like this... In honor of my PRG, I wanted to dress up a little tonight, cute outfit, skirt, heels, make-up, yep, I was looking and feeling cute. Kevin Fayaud, the great guy that he is, picked me up at 6:45 and we headed to the restaraunt for the dinner... We were two of the first to arrive so we got to see most everyone else filter in, which is always fun. Dinner was crazy, chaotic and delightful in every way. Service was slow, but that was actually kind of good, lots of talking and chatting and laughing with people I adore and nice people I had just met. The food was super yummy and there was lots of sharing and 'try this' and 'oh, did you have a bite of this' going on, which I love. During the whole thing, I kept looking up and down the table and I would just beam because no matter where I looked I would see someone that I admire and adore. Yay! Earlier in the dinner process, Frances and Barney had mentioned that they are going with Jeff and Jennif to the Kabuki to see Burn After Reading after dinner... I look at Kevin and say 'Wanna?'. He says yeah, jumps on his iphone and gets us 2 tickets for the balcony, which is where F&B and J&J were sitting. Yay for impromptu movie goings!! Yay for me doing anything impromptu!! Sideline- Have you ever been to the balcony at the Kabuki? It is awesome!! Not as awesome as the Parkway (Parkway *swoon*) but still, pretty damn awesome! I had no idea it existed!! Now I do, Yay! Ok, back to the story... Have I ever mentioned how much I love going to the movies? Really, it is one of my most favorite things, the ritual of going to the movies, just love it!! I especially love it when the movie is actually good, I am such a geek for a good movie... Ok, really, back to the story... ;) So, yeah, we finish dinner, all goes wonderfully. I am so happy to be there and be a part of such an amazing group of friends. Then it is time to go, we all say our goodbyes, everyone seems happy and giggly and full... Kevin and I jump in his car and head to the Kabuki. On the way we have the most delightful conversation, we both got to geek out on work a bit since we work with the same industry. I love my conversations with Kevin BTW, our conversations just flow so fantasticly well... he is such a great guy and wonderful friend... So we get to the theater... the door guy for the balcony has to check our ID's because it is 21 and over. He sees Kevin's first, and makes a joke about how 78 was a good year for disco (which BTW is another really, really funny story that I will not go into, but if you ever get a chance, ask Kevin about it sometime ;). Then he looks at mine does the math and then has the gaul to call me a craddle robber!! I get all playfully offended and storm off over to wear F&B and J&J are standing. Craddle robbing indeed!! I am only 4 years older than Kevin!! Sir Jeffe precedes to call me a Couger after we tell them the story, which becomes the joke for the rest of the night... Yeah, I am a total couger... *rawr* ;) So then we go take our seats (again, balcony at the Kabuki, so awesome!) and see the movie. OMG. I am so completely in awe of the Coen Brothers right now. No Country for Old Men and now this? Seriously, it was so brilliant and hilarious and brilliant and well written and the characters and the dialogue and... and... and... *deep breath* *ahem* It was a really good movie. I really loved it :) So, yeah, when we walked out of the theater I was just so bursting with happy goodness for my life, my friends, my career, my existence, my world, yeah, its like that. Tonight was such a perfectly delightful evening. So was last night. So was this week. So is my life. So, yeah, now I am home and I just felt like documenting how awesome everything is and how awesome tonight was and how awesome my life is. *beaming* *purring* What an awesomely perfect night. My life, it doesn't suck.

Oh this woman, she is a force of nature she is. I am constantly stunned by her in the most delightful ways. I think in her that I have met someone who is actually more fierce, loyal, sincere, dedicated and stubborn than me and that says a lot. I get her, she gets me and that is a wonderful thing. We accept each other as is, as equals in this adventure of life, both exploring, learning and sharing together our lessons with each other openly and freely. I admire her, I appreciate her, I adore her, I love her, I really, really do. She is my pinky ring girlfriend and tomorrow is her birthday, what a wonderful day it is that brought this amazing woman into existence!! If you are close to her it means that she will delight you with these wonderful, thoughtful little treasures. Things like she will call you only to leave you a voicemail where she sings you the most delightful songs. How awesome is that? At times the songs she has sung me have been comforting, joyous or funny, or all of the above, and every one of them I have appreciated and loved. The most recent was when she called me to sing 'I love Tara Monster' to the toon of 'I love Rock and Roll', yeah, see what I am saying? She is the AWESOME!! Seriously, this woman gives some of the most awesome love and friendship I have ever known!! She rocks my world. She pushes me to give more of myself to those I love. She pushes me to give more of myself to myself. She teaches me by example and with her very sound advise (which I admit, there are few people I actually take advise from). She always makes me feel appreciated. She is someone I confide in completely and trust without hesitation. I can get lost in conversations with her for hours, which I love. And yes, she can also be challenging and she can be difficult, and I love who she is in those moments as well, I really do, because in those moments I see her push herself to understand who she is and what she needs and it is awesome, just like she is. I have become a better person because of having this woman in my life as my friend. I love Promise so sincerely much!! I would move mountains for her, but the thing with Promise is that she does not need anyone to move mountains for her, she can move her own mountains, she only needs love, support and encouragement on her journey and gives the best love, support and encouragement in return. So yeah, my life is so blessed to have her in it, as someone I can call one of my closest and dearest friends. She is totally the awesome. Happy, Happy Birthday my beautiful, awesome, dynamic, sincere, wonderful, amazing PRG!!! I know I do not express it or show it as much as I could, but really woman, I fucking love, adore and appreciate you so seriously much. The Burning Man, it was nice, my body definitely does not do well in the heat (damn viking blood ;) but overall I had a wonderful burn with the bestest camp (BYB ;) and camp-mates and PLP and evil brother and GF's and BF's ever! Really, you all rocked so hard! I spent a lot of time in The Awesome (my super cool shade structure) avoiding the heat, hanging out with everyone at BYB, walking around the playa, the conditions were fluffy, so biking was actually not that easy, so I spent a lot of time walking and strolling, usually after the sun went down. Thank you to Miss Shama Mama and Miss Hunny Du for the fantastic post cards. Getting mail was a really neat treat! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This song speaks to my core and touches me everytime that I hear it. Ok, as their self named #1 crazy stalker fan/friend (Gonzo said I am not just their crazy stalker fan, but also their friend, yay!)... ok, maybe I am not #1, Matt and I might co-share that title, none the less... Matt gets credit for making sure I knew this show was coming, Thanks Matt!! :) The Damned will be playing at Slim's on October 28th. I just got two tickets. I will say that when I saw them play a few years back, they were brilliant, it was the first pit I had really been in for admittedly a long time and let me tell you it was fan-fuckin-tastic. They had waited to play any of their old punk songs till the second half of the show and if you know me, you knbow those are my favorite.
