my right knee got operated to clean up a minor meniscus tear on Monday. how wonderful it is, not to have any memories of the surgery, as i was knocked out for about an hour. only pain i felt was Monday night. everything was awkward on Tuesday with crutches, but i started to walk without them on Wednesday, and today i am walking without much troubles and pains. YAY!

If you would like to support Big Al, go to his web site and support his effort. He will be going to the congress tomorrow, and it will be good for him to have a good deal of support to deal with the politicians who don't act.
To follow up on the funny - and not so funny - image of Bush posted by Greg Y., here is something related. Few days ago, I was waiting for my name to be called at my dentist's office and reading San Jose Mercury. The editorial section had an article saying that not electing Gore in 2000 looks now like a really bad mistake and will hurt Americans and others - which has already been done as we all know.
