When we pray to Laksmi-Narayana it is always best to pray to them for devotional service to their lotus feet. They are indeed the givers of prosperity of spirit, which we want, but also this is just a side effect of the true happiness that is found in service to them. Strange phenomenon.
Thank you for that explanation. It is hard to define what Narayan and Laxshmi bring...yet somewhere deep inside I know what they connect me to is foundational to my sprit my body and the all/oneness.
