Well I've been taking it kind of easy here in the Anchorage area, I don't know how i would have made it though without my friend. I just hope to get a good job sometime soon... well I've been cutting some ivory & i've been kind of putting off making earrings....

I don't mind the work, I just need that one push, & from there i'll be blazing through them projects like there nothing.

Every thing into place

Every thing is getting into place now, it's like the timing is perfect.. After a long day, I tried very hard to find a place to stay, I looked everywhere for a good deal on craigslist, but the good wasn't good enough.

Once my time was up at the hotel, I figured I'd go back to the airport, & start from scratch "finding a place to stay".

The day down there was a long one, i was tired, looking for a place, & when i did find a place the person asked if i had a job. I said "no, I just completed my contract for the fishing season". The woman on the other line was like, well when you get a job you can call me, I was like "Screw calling you, this is some sh!t".

Out of the blue my cousin called me up & said our uncle had a stroke or heart attack, he asked if i would check him out at the hospital. I was like "sure, i'll check him, is he all right?"

When i looked at the scan of his heart, the woman said his vain was like 97% blocked.... in no time they had surgery on him, & he was doing ok, just a little tired.

From there i called up one of my best friends back from high school, I told him that i would buy an room with another person, he was like "You don't need to do that, just stay at my place" well everything that day happened for a reason, all the setbacks, road blocks that came my way just completed the piece of the puzzle.

I'll be getting some training online for a bar-tending job, i think all together the course will be like 5 hours long & from there I would get my license if everything goes well.... or maybe i might find a better job, well we'll see.

work

The work here in Platinum's been good, i've been really busy, & oh yeah i forgot to bring my camera... well i have my cell phone & just recently i found out how to transfer pictures to my laptop.

Last week i made about 67 hours of work, this week we won't start work until tuesday... well i sold all my earrings in less then five minutes when i arrived... I should have sold my earrings for a whole lot, but i sold them all for about $85 to $95...

Dam one day i was working from 9 am until 7 am the next day.... I was worn out, from all the work.

Earlier during the day i just woke up for breakfast & went to sleep until dinner time, since i was sore & tired from all the work.

I'm glad we got a day off from work.

The view here isn't what i expected, some may think it's great, but to me... i just miss the Palmer / Wasilla area. Well i'm going to get some sleep, just incase we have a few hours of work tomorrow.
