Every thing into place

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/tatchak/blog/4e2d1bfd-867a-4b92-80b1-815a159a2662">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/d57/30b/d5730b84-4ea5-487f-858c-e2e9df86be20.thumb" width="65" height="58" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>Every thing is getting into place now, it's like the timing is perfect.. After a long day, I tried very hard to find a place to stay, I looked everywhere for a good deal on craigslist, but the good wasn't good enough.

Once my time was up at the hotel, I figured I'd go back to the airport, &amp; start from scratch "finding a place to stay".

The day down there was a long one, i was tired, looking for a place, &amp; when i did find a place the person asked if i had a job. I said "no, I just completed my contract for the fishing season". The woman on the other line was like, well when you get a job you can call me, I was like "Screw calling you, this is some sh!t".

Out of the blue my cousin called me up &amp; said our uncle had a stroke or heart attack, he asked if i would check him out at the hospital. I was like "sure, i'll check him, is he all right?"

When i looked at the scan of his heart, the woman said his vain was like 97% blocked.... in no time they had surgery on him, &amp; he was doing ok, just a little tired.

From there i called up one of my best friends back from high school, I told him that i would buy an room with another person, he was like "You don't need to do that, just stay at my place" well everything that day happened for a reason, all the setbacks, road blocks that came my way just completed the piece of the puzzle.

I'll be getting some training online for a bar-tending job, i think all together the course will be like 5 hours long &amp; from there I would get my license if everything goes well.... or maybe i might find a better job, well we'll see.

Last week i made about 67 hours of work, this week we won't start work until tuesday... well i sold all my earrings in less then five minutes when i arrived... I should have sold my earrings for a whole lot, but i sold them all for about $85 to $95...

Dam one day i was working from 9 am until 7 am the next day.... I was worn out, from all the work.

Earlier during the day i just woke up for breakfast &amp; went to sleep until dinner time, since i was sore &amp; tired from all the work.

I'm glad we got a day off from work.

The view here isn't what i expected, some may think it's great, but to me... i just miss the Palmer / Wasilla area. Well i'm going to get some sleep, just incase we have a few hours of work tomorrow. </div>

Tribe dying? "tribe.net"

<div>So i was wondering, if tribe was slowly dying out, like a "fad".. I go to tribe regularly, but i'm not as active as i was when i was going college or when i was getting training. I like tribe, i think more people should join, but i think this "tribe" is targeted to "adults"...

Myspace is more targeted to the younger generation, I think that would be the problem...

I remember there was this other site called "spicepad" i use to go to it, the site seemed pretty good, but that site got warn off quickly.. like after having a bunch of your favorite "junk food" &amp; it getting stale... something to that nature.

I remember a few months ago i googled "social networking sites" i tried to make a profile in all of them, but i got tired of making profiles after making 2 or 3 profiles... so i gave up &amp; said "screw it".

Well what's you thought?

I don't really think i'll ever get tired of tribe, it's a good place to post blogs, pictures ext...

										<div>Well I got accepted into the welding training, but the company that said that said they would pay my way doesn't have the funds...
The my class would have started on the 19th of this month, &amp; I would have been training for 4 months.

After all the hard work, I turned down couple commercial fishing jobs, I think I should have went with them fishing jobs. I think it's a little too late to be doing anything right now.

Well I told the director that's running the welding program "I would look forward to seeing him another time", oh well I guess now I'm stuck again in the village. I hope to find a good job in the next few months, i'd like to move out of the village, and find something better. I would like to get a loan, but I don't think any place would give me a loan since i'm not working.

Oh well I hope you all Enjoy the Summer time, Take care &amp; God Bless.</div>

I found 3 bb's underneath my skin

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/tatchak/blog/e0d234fc-d501-4482-ac44-7e36669504db">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/85d/efd/85defd75-5665-4d6e-83b6-b51ef2add14f.thumb" width="65" height="48" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>While i was stretching i noticed a bump underneath my skin, i know I had one bb shell underneath my skin, but when i felt around i noticed another bump, &amp; another. I can see some scars from the shot that happened when i was about 16 or 17 years old, i thought these scars were when i had the chicken pox, but when i stretch my chest i could feel that hard bb shell beneath my skin.

It's been a long time since that accident happened, i wish i never made that shot with my bb gun, or i should have known better. I was just a kid, a teenager that just wanted to do something that i had done in the past, shoot a shotgun shell, &amp; let it go off. I thought it was cool the way my friend was able to let a shotgun shell fire without a gun, the way we made it go off was to shoot that middle part of the bullet. During the summer time around August, the family went out by boat to go berry picking, we camped out for about 5 days "it seemed like two weeks for me". The area we camped out was about 5 to 6 miles away from town, it doesn't seem far, but during the low tide it's very difficult going in or out of the camp site. Once we got to our camp spot we had to push a 16 foot lund-boat into a very big long stretched lake, the distance to the lake was about 400 to 500 feet. We used logs, &amp; pieces of wood in order to make it a little easier to push the boat into the lake.

Once every thing was setup we took a ride in the lake, this lake seem to stretch 3 miles or so the water is fresh, but undrinkable due to the mossy like substance floating around &amp; just that lake water wasn't good for anything except maybe washing dishes with. My dad would usually set the white fish net in the lake about 300 feet away from our camp. The only fish inside this lake is white fish, &amp; needle fish or minnows, we would usually catch 8 to 10 fish a day with that net. The birds around the area was plenty, mainly ducks, we'd catch a few for bird soup, &amp; amazingly there would be some fresh duck eggs in August at that site. At the time i was maybe 16 or 17, my brother Albert was 14, &amp; Harold was 11, i can't remember the exact age, but we were all just kids. The first few days we got a lot of salmon-berries, &amp; the small few raspberries around the area. There were some spots on the land in certain areas that were fill with salmon-berries, so much you could see a big patch of orangish land spreading far, &amp; wide.

During them days I never liked it when it was too hot, or when there was lots of mosquitoes. I never really complained about those stuff that bothered me, i just picked as much berries as i can, sometimes i'd get carried away eating them berries. Often times my stomach would hurt from all the berries i ate, my parents would tell me not to eat too much, the taste of the berries was too delicious i just couldn't resist having them. When the sun set beyond the horizon, &amp; when we "kids" had nothing to do we'd use our bb guns to shoot the V line underneath the river. Beneath that V line was a fish swimming up or down river, we all though we'd be able to catch the fish in the river, but we never did catch any that way. When the sun was gone, &amp; the sky seemed dark blue, that's when we'd hear in a distance a crying loon going "aaaaaahhhh...........aaaaahhhhh" the birds always sounded like they were crying.

I like the story about how the crane got his blue eyes, one day the crane was eating berries, he decided to set his eyes down, &amp; he told his eyes to let him know if someone was coming. As the crane was eating berries, his eyes started screaming, "I see someone, i see someone, their going to take me away" so the crane rushed back to his eyes, &amp; when he looked it was just a log floating down the river. He said to his eyes, that's just a log, next time don't make stories up. He set his eyes down, &amp; got back to eating the plentiful berries, all of a sudden he heard his eyes screaming, "someone's coming, someone's coming, there going to take me away". The crane rushed back to his eyes, &amp; when he looked around all he saw was just a leaf dancing around in the wind. He said, that's "just a leaf floating around in the wind", he set his eyes back down, &amp; continued eating. Moments later he heard them eyes saying "someone's coming, someone's coming their going to take me away!" The crane just ignored his eyes, &amp; kept on eating, he started to hear his eyes screaming from a distance getting fainter, &amp; farther away. He then tried to look for his eyes, but his eye's were no where in sight- He then took some cranberries for his eyes, to his amazement everything was red, just too red he didn't like the color it bothered his sight. He then looked around the area to find black-berries, he put them on, &amp; when he looked around it was as if it was night time, everything was dark. Well he then set the black-berries down, &amp; found another set of berries, this time blue berries. When he looked around everything was perfect, he liked how his sight was.
I remember hearing this story told a few times when i was younger.

Oh out in camp, i noticed everything tasted much better out there, like the chips i usually didn't like "sweet'n sour cream" tasted good out there. The taste of food seem to have a much better taste out there for some reason, i always liked eating out there because the food had a much clean crisp to it. Well it's kind of getting late, i kind of got carried away, i need to wake-up in the morning, &amp; take care of some paper work.

Well long story short, during the warm hot sunny day my parents told us there was a bag of shot gun shells in the tundra. They pointed off to a distance on a small hill, that's when me &amp; my brothers stared walking towards that area. We only wanted to go there because we heard there was a can of gun oil in that bag. Once we walked towards where my parents had pointed we found the black bag that contained a full 25 or more shotgun shells. We oiled up our bb guns, &amp; we noticed our guns got stronger or better to pump. We were all glad our guns were performing better then before, i got the idea of putting the shell in the ground, &amp; we would try to shoot the bullet in the middle to let it go off. Well all of us started shooting at that shell, we were about 20 to 25 feet away, none of use were able to hit it. We kept missing, after my 4th or 5th shot I hit the middle of the bullet &amp; that's when the bullet went off. My brother Harold started crying, Albert was leaned forward, &amp; i was trying to calm them down. When i saw blood on my brother that's when i started screaming for help, i could see myself screaming, it was as if i had jumped out of my body, &amp; i saw what was happening from all directions. The walk to our parents was a distance, they were all shocked what had happened, they were asking who shot the bullet &amp; made it go off. At the time i didn't feel any pain, i was just crying, i thought my brother was going to die. We drive back to camp, then my dad, &amp; Harold and a relative started going to chevak. The tide was going out, they had to push their way in the river for a half hour. During this time our auntie tried to cheer us up, &amp; told us that what had happened wasn't so bad. She had told us that her husband got shot with a rifle, &amp; blood was gushing out, well she just wanted to let us know what happened to use wasn't as bad as we thought it was. To pass the time we went in the boat, &amp; collected the needle fish that were swimming around the boat, we caught them with our hands &amp; kept them in a small container.

Well that's all i'll say for right now, it's way too late for me, i need to get up early in the morning, i got carried away with the story.</div>

Well I'll be working thought out the summer season until August. I should have done my research on where I picked my place to work, I'd much rather go Quinhagak where there's at least 500 people. Talk about going crazy in a small town with only a few people, hmm, I just hope it's a blessing in disguise, i hear there's more work hours in Quinhagak... I just hope to make as much work hours as i can through out this fishing season, i need to make the money to pay off for training, well if that doesn't happen then I'll just move to the Anchorage area &amp; find a job there-

Picture of my cousin, just got back from training in the National Guard.</div>

    </a>
										<div>I Enjoyed the day out there, I caught 15 geese &amp; lost 4 others out there. Right now the snow here in Alaska is very soft, I kept on sinking when I was retrieving the geese I shot down. Some parts of the river's out there seems to be dangerous, it took me a while to look for a safe place to cross.

I usually would go out hunting with one of my friends, but they had to work, so I went by myself. The area that I went to was about 8.5 miles away, that doesn't seem so far, but with a snow-machine, all the rivers &amp; lakes I had to cross made it seem like a maze.

By 2:30 p.m. I ran out of shotgun shells &amp; that's when I decided to wrap things up, it took me about 45 minutes to clean up the place "used shot gun shells" &amp; any trash that was around the area. I arrived in town around 3:50 p.m. the snow-machine seemed like it would break down, luckily I made it in town safe.

The minute I got home, I decided to give a goose to an elder here in town, I gave couple elders some birds so far. I always like to give what I can to the elders in town, especially the ones that don't have anyone to go out hunting for them. </div>

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/tatchak/blog/698c999d-b292-4dcf-a9f1-3ef97a03a575">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/81d/c72/81dc7223-b209-4678-9dfd-5bedf4e2b9a8.thumb" width="65" height="48" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>What do you see? I think most legislators would see nothing, but a wasteland.. They would only see the cold surface that amounts to "nothing".

Well They are wrong! There is a lot of material &amp; life to live here, from getting fish under the ice, collecting bird eggs during the spring, getting fresh water from the lakes, FISHING, bird hunting, hunting both big &amp; small game for subsistence, gathering Eskimo medicine "certain medicine is much better then manufactured pills", oh the abundant drift wood there is out there.... to keep a house warm &amp; cozy...

We may not have a garden, but the arctic wild life is our garden, to us Eskimo people.
This is our garden, the arctic wild life, that brings the birds durning the summer, along with the whale that migrate though out the year. What good is it to harm the environment that brings the very life to our way of living?

For someone to destroy &amp; try and build their "riches" for their greed is selfish... It's like someone taking your very own house away.... or it's like a person tearing your heritage or your family history away from you, I'm sure you wouldn't like that.

    </a>
										<div>I can't wait to move out of the village, I've been here way too long, I've waited &amp; called the steam-fitters &amp; pipe fitters union and asked for work. I think I should have just moved on and found some other work rather then waiting for the union to call me up for work.

I think them letting a person wait &amp; wait.... letting them "hope" to work soon is degrading to me. I've called there, sent my updated resume and I'm just tired of that union. I think just because I embarrassed that worker durning his meeting "I called him on his cell" and he got embarrassed because he didn't turn his cell phone ringer off... it shouldn't be the meaning they / "he" should "X" me out of work.

I think there's much better opportunity out there for work, right now I'm frustrated that I'm back here, I was suppose to only stay here in the village for a few weeks to only a month.

I can't believe I got myself into this mess, oh well I could only look at this as a "blessing in disguise" maybe it was for the better. Who knows? I might have avoided some bad luck, like injury, death or whatever, but all in all I'm just glad that everything changes..

I'm still bummed out though...

										<div>Named after President Lincoln..... "smiles" crazy dog, likes to follow me every where even during the stormy days... I don't let him go out with me when it's stormy, I just let him go back in the house, I don't want him stolen like my other puppy. I wouldn't mind having a chip put in him, he'll be getting his shots next month. He's getting big, so big that when I give him a bath he doesn't fit the container that he usually uses, now that he's growing I just lather him up with shampoo and just run the water and get him dried up.

He's teething right now, I gave him several moose bones to chew on and a few toys to munch on, he chewed on several of my brothers ear-phones. Well all in all he's been a good little dog, AKA "Puppy" </div>

Just several years ago-

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/tatchak/blog/103ac2e5-20b5-48eb-a5a3-7c57c60e1cc7">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/34f/d7f/34fd7f25-30d5-44df-bee1-a8c780317ed7.thumb" width="65" height="48" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>Just several years ago, I remember when $20.00 would be able to get 6 gallons of gas. During the summer on a good sunny day I’d be able to take a ride along with several other friends to the bay and enjoy the time away from home.

The sight of the ocean was so calm, not a wave in sight the top of the water looked like a single sheet of glass. Calm days like these would be good for seal hunting, but the best time would be after a strong winds from the west died down there would be many seals out there to hunt.

Any opportunity to go out to the bay I’d take it and after a few weeks I’d get a nice blazing tan, (except when I wore sun glasses) the imprint of the glasses would let people know you’d been out during them hot sunny days enjoying the weather.

For each season that comes and goes there’s an opportunity to collect food and material. If things happened all at once then we wouldn’t have time or the energy to get all that we needed.

Right now during this winter season we’re able to get white fish, lush fish, tom-cods, black fish (these fish have an army color to them black &amp; green), foxes, mink, moose. Around middle of April that’s the best time for seal hunting. At this time the seal’s fat is so much that the seal floats, meaning we don’t have to use our harpoon. The fat from the seal could be used for the salmon when making “Poke fish” (aging the smoked salmon in seal-oil). If you like smoked salmon, and if you never had poke-fish, then all I have to say your missing out on some good tasty treat. One of my friends that never had these salmon strips aged in seal-oil just couldn’t stop having them once he tried a piece. He wanted some several months ago and I told him we had finished them since the fishing for us wasn’t so good due to a bad motor.

Once spring hits it’s bird hunting season, the time seems short once the birds start laying eggs hunting seasons over. The good thing is collecting the eggs, varying from the small sand-piper eggs to the bigger birds such as ducks and geese eggs. The sand-piper eggs have a unique taste to them, one that gives chicken eggs a stale taste without flavor. Out of all the eggs I like the sand-piper eggs since they have a bang to the taste buds. I heard that gull eggs taste delicious, much more tastier then sand-piper eggs, but I have never had them gull eggs in my life (something I’ll need to try out).
Seven years ago when I went out egg hunting / gathering with five of my cousins it was the best experience I had. The walk seemed like three miles all together just looking for the eggs. My cousins were finding all the bird eggs, so much that their buckets were getting full. I had only a few no more than a dozen little bird eggs, them eggs were so hard to find being so camouflage. The color of the sand-piper eggs along with area the eggs are located makes it very hard to locate. Several times while looking for them eggs I accidently stepped on the eggs, it gave me the chance to slurp the eggs out of there shell. When lunch time came around, my cousins laid their eggs in the tundra to use their bucket... I forgot they had set them eggs in a certain spot, I accidently stepped one them and later that day the eggs that I found I gave to them.

Collecting some plants during the spring is another thing of it’s own, there are couple types of plants were able to gather. I don’t really know the “english” name for some of these plants. One plant that grows in the ponds has white tips, then a couple centimeters down the color turns pink to red then black. The plants are hollow and there good ingredient to soup, adding some seal-oil gives it a flavor of it’s own... lol, like chips and dip! There are many plants to get out there so much to name and use for food to medicine.

In June &amp; July is usually salmon season, then from there it’s berry picking season, then back to bird hunting. Once that’s over once the flood hits it’s usually good to get drift wood, then moose hunting... Then it’s back to the tom-cods during the freeze up. Well i kind of skipped over what there is to do, but you get the idea of things.

Trojan Virus found in....

    </a>
										<div>A new variant of the iServices Trojan horse has been discovered by Intego.

The new Trojan horse, OSX.Trojan.iServices.B, is found in pirated software distributed via BitTorrent trackers and other sites containing links to pirated software, just like the previous version.

OSX.Trojan.iServices.B Trojan horse is found bundled with copies of Adobe Photoshop CS4 for Mac. The Photoshop installer itself is clean, but the Trojan horse is found in a crack application that serializes the program.

According to Intego:

After downloading this version of Photoshop, users will run the crack application to be able to use it. The crack application extracts an executable from its data, than installs a backdoor in /var/tmp/, a directory which is not deleted when the computer is restarted. (If the user runs the crack application again, the Trojan horse creates a new executable with a different name; these random names make it harder to ensure safe removal of the malware.)

The crack application then requests an administrator password, launching the backdoor with root privileges. This copies the executable to /usr/bin/DivX, then creates a startup item in /System/Library/StartupItems/DivX. The program checks to see if it has been launched with root privileges, then saves the root hash password in the file /var/root/.DivX. It listens on a random TCP port, and answers requests such as GET / HTTP/1.0 by sending a 209-byte packet, and makes repeated connections to two IP addresses.

Next, the crack application opens a disk image which is hidden in its resource folder, named .data, and proceeds to crack Photoshop.

Since the malware connects to a remote server over the Internet, the creator will be alerted that this Trojan horse is installed on different Macs, and will have the ability to connect to them and perform various actions remotely, the company says.

The Trojan horse may also download additional components to an infected Mac.

WHAT TO DO: If you’re a Mac user, do not download Photoshop CS4 installers from sites offering pirated software. According to Intego, nearly 5,000 people on one BitTorrent site have downloaded this installer since 6am EST.

In other words, don’t do crack.

The risk of infection is serious, Intego says: “Due to the number of infected users, these users may face extremely serious consequences if their Macs are accessible to malicious users. The first version of this Trojan horse was seen downloading new code to infected computers, which were then used in a DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack on certain web sites. Since this new variant uses the same technology, and contacts the same remote servers, it is likely that it will attempt to download new code and perform such actions.”

										<div>Well I didn't expect to post this but oh well I hope you enjoy~

Just a dream....

Once after reading the bible, when I fell asleep, I woke up to seeing couple black beings controlling me behind the walls. It was like as if they lifted me up with their mind or power, and I started falling on the side of my bed. When I looked down I noticed a really black hole, I twitched my arm very hard, and that's when I woke-up. My heart was beating very fast and it shocked me for a second or two, when I found out it was a dream I was relived. I wouldn't mind experiencing something like this again, but just as long as it's not so bad.

My mom had something like that happen to her, when she was like about 13 years old, she was playing with her friends in the living room. They had a big bed spread out in the living room, and they were all playing and chatting durning the night. When my mom looked up at the ceiling she noticed a being, like a big Eskimo "you know with their Eskimo built coat, with fur along side the hood". This Eskimo Shadow looked like it was very sleepy, and it looked as if he was about to fall on her. As this big shadow was falling towards her, she put her arms up as if she were to protect herself against this shadow. When the shadow passed through her, she closed her eyes and as she did that she felt chills through out her body. When she opened her eyes she noticed she was in a different room, and her auntie was awake, just staring at her. My mom was puzzled and she asked why she was in that room, her auntie replied "I don't know" so my mom went back to the living room. When she got to her friends she tried to wake them up, they were very sleepy, and didn't wake-up. She said to herself that she'd tell her mom what had happened during the morning. When time came she forgot about the incident until a year passed and when they moved to a different village it was then she remembered about what had happened. She told her mom, her mom listened and she said the "real ghost" visited you. That's why you weren't able to remember what had happened until now. Sometimes when these incidents happen when them ghosts visit, they let the person forget what had happened until like several days or a week, can even be a year until they remember what happen. Well I just felt like sharing that story to you. I hope you Enjoy the Week/end. Take care and God Bless-</div>

Our Big Puppy

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/tatchak/blog/83b9cab8-34d8-4688-b691-4818be1e2a3f">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/0e6/649/0e6649e6-c5aa-4106-9820-b893a372062d.thumb" width="65" height="48" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>I haven't given him a name yet, I'm kind of bad at naming pets, but oh well I'll figure that out at a later time. I kind of though of naming him "Biscuit" or "Publish" or "Sergeant" or "Mr.".....

Well I taught him where to use the bathroom, well not 100% but like 90% of the time he uses it where he's suppose to. Along with that I also taught him which rooms not to go into, "the small stuff that matter" and he's been a good little fellow.

The Weather's been kind of bad, and I haven't really gone out with him yet, but me and my brothers keep him active. I don't know the puppy would learn how to fetch, well that could come at a later time. I'd like to bring him out hunting with me and sometime I need to get a good collar, I think I'd like a red one for him.

I miss Sparky our Husky we had for about 16 year, a black dog with couple white dots above her eye's. I use ride in the tundra with our snow-machine, along with us the dog would get her exercise.

Couple years ago, I had a chance to spend some time with relatives I've never met up until one holiday, well at their place they had about 8 to 10 dogs. They were really big husky's and a few of them were part wolf, that was cool, durning the cold night I woke-up to them howling. My cousin was teasing me and asking me if I was scared I was like, "no reason to be scared" I kind of miss them howling during the nights, it was like "a part of Alaska" to me. I still want to get to experience other parts of Alaska and see the different cultural background of the Inupiaq, Inuit, Tlingit and the other Yup'ik life. </div>
