....Actually, the winter here in Wisconsin has not been that bad so far. Yes, there were a few days when our average daily temperature was in the single digits! But today was very very nice- and although it is cold, and there is snow everywhere, the days are beautifully clear and sunny.

My mom was incredibly sick from a bad case of the flu all weekend. It was upsetting that she was so sick, not only because she was so miserable, but also because I had driven down to Los Angeles to spend time with her and the rest of the family.
