Why are you not on dvd's yet girl???? Not even on belly dance album covers??? You are by far the best in my book and you are inspirational. Not only are you blunt, yet technical in your teachings, but you are silly and fun. It makes all ages and sizes feel loved in your class. You truely do have the gift of making people feel better about themselves. I miss you and wish you were still teaching in MD. I hope NJ is ready for ya! All the best girlfriend! You deserve it!
You have your sword work nailed, veil as well, your dynamic drum solos that can be quite hilarious when you use the "eyebrow trick", you have great elegant slow moves, but can break out with so many variousions of speed speratically. You never get old to watch. Cant get enough of you woman! You are on your way!

My bellydancing sister at heart! What a doll! This goddess is strong willed muti-talented, gifted by heart, and a dedicated talented dancer! Girl I want to see you as a belly dance superstar, you got it girl!!
CJ I know your dreams will come true. Just stay true like you do, thats what I love about you!! She's is TRULY sincerely beautiful INSIDE and OUT!! She respects the middle eastern community and dance like no there. And she slithers like a sexxxyyyyyyyyyyyyy snake! meow ^-^=! SXY girllll! I love you all gothed up... HOTNESS!! Classy whether shes dancing cabaret goth, tribal, you got it going on! One thing she has is style, yea she got it. I am honored to be her friend and respect her and her love our our commonnly shared art of middle eastern and tribal dance. CJ! Crazy Fun Metal loving and Real. I mean REAL!! Gotta love her! She is the coolest like minded chick I ever met. I wish we lived near each other again. :( miss her! CJ, aka Caleena Janay.
A student of bellydance and living everyday for fufillment and fun, her grace and poise on the dance floor will leave anyone spellbound.
She is a woman who is strong-willed, sometimes stubborn and is hardest on herself when it comes to performing the art form correctly, aspects that will carry her far for many years, if not decades, to come. Her need to represent the dance the right way is the ONLY way for Caleena.
A stare that stop time and muscles that will make you rethink your appreciation for what the female body and soul can do, remember her name, for when you see her dance, you'll be forced to!

about me
I am an open-minded bellydancer seeking a troupe of like-minded tribal fusion, metal chicks. Ok, so even if metal is not your thing, I also enjoy "gothic style" as well as traditional "caberet" bellydance. Basically, Im open-minded to any kind at all. I would just love to be a part of a troupe again. I dance in a local restaraunt currently and teach out of my house. I have been teaching for 5 years now and dancing for 14 years as my mother is also a bellydancer. I perform all over the east coast and want badly to extend my travel expereince.. I am not what you call, "conservative", but I am well behaved;)~
PLEASE understand that although my bio seems that I am not to be taken too seriously, I truely have a crucial respect for all traditions of each style of bellydance. I have been involved in this world for a number of years and have been studious in regard to tradition as well as talent, but love to add my own flair!
I would like to apologize now to a person whom Ive hurt. I few years ago, I had the nerve to call myself "fat" when I weight 130 lbs, to a woman who weighed at least 300 lbs. No, it wasnt out of spite, as this was a very important woman to me. Once again, it just slipped.

Let me just correct myself on previous blogs and posts about being a "victim" of abuse and slander. I am NOT a victim, I am a survivor. I look back at my posts sometimes and think, "woa, you are one miserable b*tch"
