He was born about an hour ago. My mom happened to stop by the hospital about 10 minutes before delivery so she was able to hear his first cries also. I'm so wasted right now, but I don't think I'll be able to sleep for quite awhile. I forgot how crazy-emotional it is to attend a birth.

So he's a May Day Baby! I'm off to Denny's to get some food. Details: 10:20pm, 8lbs. 14oz, boy, has lots of hair.
After 3 hours at the hospital, they sent us home saying it's not time yet. I'm going to bed.
