Offshoring of American jobs is about exploitation and discrimination
(blog entry)
Think about it for a second.
In this global economy, jobs do not get exported to America. Jobs leave here and go abroad. America is running a huge trade deficit with the world.
Many of you believe that opposition to offshoring jobs is about ...

On behalf of liberal America I feel sorry for the money you have lost as a result of the collapse of BP's stock value. I'm sure that this will cause you some considerable financial burden and not just a wee bit of consternation. This is no joke, e...

I'm sure that this will cause you some considerable financial burden and not just a wee bit of consternation. This is no joke, especially considering that those who will suffer include not only the CEOs and billionaire investors, but also retirees, workers and various holders of mutual funds.
My heart really goes out to you. Really. Well, except to the bastards on top at B...

We've lost far and away over 3 million manufacturing jobs, to say nothing of tech jobs and textile jobs, to offshoring labor to low wage countries. We're now even losing biotech jobs to India, due to what again? Super low wages.
The only way America is ever going to get out of this endless recession and a persistent 8% or higher unemployment level, is to get those jobs back.
Right wingers claim that this is a situation of horse and carriage jobs being replaced by auto manufacturing - in...
