If we could all sum it up within the confines of this tiny little box Freud would have been out of a job.......... But, here goes:

I am a freelance Artist - Fine art, Makeup artistry, Special F/X, Costume and Clothing design, Graphic Design, Writing and Photography (to name a few). Just about the only thing I DO NOT do is sing and dance. Ok, so I do sing and dance, I am just not particularly good at either.

A few of my favorite things:

Being an artist * Lemon Jell-O * Pomegranates * Seeing how many pieces of gum I can shove into my mouth at one time and still chew * The fact that my dog's feet smell like corn chips * Well groomed eyebrows * Laughing so hard that I involuntarily snort (though it is not exactly the most attractive thing to witness ;)) * Self confidence * The feeling of fresh, cool sheets * Random acts of complete and utter silliness * Making up my own words to popular songs..... then singing them as if it were an opera...... as loud as I can....... even though I am completely tone-deaf ;) * the color pink * Wearing ridiculous clothing on purpose * Painted toenails..... people who like to paint my toenails * Saturday morning cartoons * The feel of wet skin * Seattle in the springtime * Perfect imperfections

I adore the Art of Dress up - all things hair, makeup, fashion, costumes, wigs, hats, shoes, etc.

I also enjoy writing limericks, making (and playing with) sockpuppets, taking care of my animal menagerie: one dog, one cat, three African Giant Millipedes, 5 tropical fish, and a leopard gecko. Being crafty vixen with almost god-like Macgyver skills (I can make almost anything out of almost anything) and I play a mean Kazoo.

I am also a pretty decent cook. I am vegan* therefore my cooking skills are an absolute necessity - one can only eat so many peanut butter sandwiches and bowls of black beans and rice before bowing down to the almighty cookbook.

*I do make an exception for Sushi, which is in my opinion, Ambrosia of the Gods. I will also occasionally fall prey to brightly colored springy gelatinous evil – Jell-O wigglers and gummy bears and candied "orange" slices.

Random Facts:

I once lodged a Cheeto so far up my nostril that that I believed I might need emergency medical intervention. I should note that not only was I NOT under the age of 12 when this occurred but this was not accidental (or at least, the placement of said Cheeto was not accidental. As for it becoming wedged - I had not exactly planned on that part).

I *actually like* the smell of burnt rubber, burnt hair, and burnt toast.

I think polyester leisure suits are sexy.

When I was five, I ate a live water roach so that I could be initiated into the "secret boy's club"

I love Tom Jones.

My first childhood crush was Toni Tennille (of Captain and Tennille)

I often have a hard time distinguishes whether or not an object is wet, or merely cold when touching it.

I am a genetically challenged Drag Queen with a serious case of Vegas Show Girl envy.

I have an almost fetish for miniaturized objects, antique surgical equipment, old anatomical/medical ink illustrations, dolls/puppets/mannequins, and all things beautifully creeptastic

The Magic Flute as composed by Mozart, brings me to tears virtually every time I hear it.

I can "taste" color – and yes, it is neurological.

Toy monkeys playing cymbals and paintings of clowns scare the beejesus out of me....and I like it.

I own dolls. And yes, I do play with them.

Creating art - is the closest thing to "prayer" I have experienced thus far.
