Vern is one of the sweeter, sensitive guys I've ever known. He will time after time again, put others before himself, not just friends either. He constantly makes people smile and laugh and is definatly a very important facet to our little family of gamers (either currently or have gamed in the past). We are all family and Vern is like that little brother that we all love. ... to terrorize. In good way.. REALLY!

Vern is a TRUE friend. He is the type of guy you want in your corner because you know he will cover your six. I have a lot of respect for Vern. He is one of the founders of the Slayer crew! He is always there if you need to talk, he is always there if you need a friend, he is always there to make you laugh when you need to. I hope to know Vern for many many many years to come.
I think that Vern's friends need to take the time to tell him how much his friendship means.
