I once had a guy come to meet me on the second date with flowers, then take me to the Berkeley Marina to dump me. Our chemistry was so strong and electric, we could hardly be within 3 feet of each other. It felt spiritual, physical, and emotional. Looking into his eyes was nigh unbearable with thunder.
his decision was based in fear, not courage. I immediately threw the flowers away.
