Bob Riley called for a nationwide travel boycott of Aruba on Tuesday on behalf of a missing Alabama teenager's family, who accuse the island's government of not fully cooperating with the investigation into her disappearance. Riley asked his fellow governors to join him in urging the boycott of Aruba, where 18-year-old Natalee Holloway was last seen on May 30. "There are no other alternatives to get Aruban authorities to take this as seriously as they should," Riley said. Holloway's mother, Beth Holloway-Twitty, joined Riley at the Alabama Capitol for the boycott announcement. She contends Aruban authorities have failed to adequately investigate the possible murder of her daughter, who was with a Dutch teenager and two Surinamese brothers on the night she disappeared. The young men were held for a time but have been released. Aruba Police Chief Gerald Dompig said later Tuesday the investigation into Holloway's disappearance is not complete, and that authorities want to interview other American teenagers who were on the high school graduation trip with Holloway. In a couple of hours, I become a homeowner... Right after I settle on the house I have to get there and wait for my new appliances to be delivered. I'm surprised the store called before 7:30 AM (abut 15 minutes ago) with a time window... Earlier than I thought, but fuck it. I bet they'll be sitting waiting for me before their time window. I got my friends helping me tomorrow to move all my stuff from my apartment to my new house.

I've been thinking about getting tattooed for well over 10 years now. The major thing that always ran thru my head was WHAT to get. I had many ideas over the years since, usually something that had caught me interest/political ideology at the time, but then the idea didn't seem so good for some... The first idea I ever had was when I was deep into my Russian heritage and Soviet ideology - an image of a bear standing on it's hind legs with a Soviet flag on a pole in one hand and an AK-47 in the other and the bear was growling... Nah... The second idea I had was an image of a Borg from Star Trek. I still think that they're really fucking cool looking. Even had the idea of using either glow in the dark ink (green) and/or red (for the laser coming from an eye-piece).... Next was soem artwork of John Lydon, a.k.a. Johnny Rotten, that he used on his solo album entitled "Psycho's Path"... I still love John and everything he does and he remains one of my favorite musicians (Sex Pistols, Public Image Ltd., and solo...). Don't remember of any other ideas that really stood out... Recently I had the idea of the above image - the image I used for the logo of my web site/blog. I found the image in some Japanese wing ding font... Recently I've had the itch again to get a tattoo... I want something that I will like forever... Will my tastes change again? Will I hate what I get? Will I...? Will I...? I need not to spend money on such things right now since I just bought a house... I need to SAVE my money! But the urge...

Like I said, I was at work, I was going down the escalator talking to one of my bosses and Davy was talking to someone going up the escalator... I was like "Do you know who that was? That was Davy Jones from The Monkees!" to my boss... He wasn't too impressed... I was like "HOLY SHIT! That was so cool!" But since I was at work, I couldn't go follow him and get a pic or anything, which I would of LOVED to have done! FUCK!

My car battery (on the right died while I was in the grocery store yesterday. So I come out with some frozen foods, fresh veggies and a few odds & ends, load them all up, jump my vehicle, insert teh key, turn, CHUNK CHUNK CHUNK. BASTARD! And it's likke 90 degrees outside plus felt hotter with all the humidity... I was able to get my windows down and every-so-often a cool breeze went by as I waited over an hour for help to arrive... While I was waiting, I was literally wiping cups of sweat off my head at a time. I think all my frozen food (seafood) made it. Glad I didn't get the snow crab legs! Luckily my battery started this morning so I could go to work and afterwards so I could get the new battery and started again so I could make it home. On the left is the NEW batttery before I placed it into the engine compartment... I should of taken a picture of my hands - all black with yummy engine dirt!

Fun at the DMV

So, my drivers license expired because my job has been stressing my out and filling my mind constantly for the passed 2 months... FUCKERS... So, I found out my license expired a few days ago, and today the DMV is open untili 8pm so today was perfect chance to go, after another WONDERFUL day at work.. FUCKERS... So, I'm standing in line... Waiting my turn... And I'm about 6-8 people before being called (about 40-45 mins waiting in line), one of the DMV workers comes out and shouts "Anyone renewing their licenses - come over here!" BINGO! First in the new line! And an entire 3 minutes later, I have my form and go to get my picture taken & get my renewed license... And don't you know, this time my picture is worst than the last one... I look like I'm high and have a liver problem. And NO, you can't see the picture.
