I didn't even WANT to learn watercolor....I tried to take an oil class twice. It got cancelled...twice. Acrylic didn't fit into my schedule...so I took watercolor. Ho hum, I thought it would be fun and "whatever".......But to my astonishment.... I loved it . LOVED IT. In fact, I loved it so much I declared (to myself, the universe, and anybody who cared to listen) that my main plan for the upcoming summer was to paint, paint, and PAINT.
Well, I never stopped. And here I am, 17 years later, somehow managing to support myself on it (tho it is hairy at times).
And I have yet to try oil painting......

yep
here in san fran for an art festival, drove all night to get here and still awake from all the coffee....laptopping with jonesy who is kind enough to put me up.....waiting for sleep to come...
