This woman boggles my mind. I thought I knew what the words "strength" & "inspiration" meant. (although I can imagine her rolling her eyes as she reads this!)
They were only mere words to me before I had the pleasure of meeting Crypto here on Tribe (I've yet to have the honor to meet her in person, but it's high on my list of goals).
I once made the mistake of taking her for granted, and my stupidity made me not see how very special she is. I'm glad we've gotten past that (although I still regret & cringe when I think about it sometimes!)
Don't make that same mistake. Because a person like Crypto is a very, very rare treasure. Only a fool would pass her up as a friend.

Well, I've made it another day without getting stricken from her friend-list, so, clearly this is a person of great temperance, and a gentle nature. Frankly, how many of us truly deserve this kind of benevolent grace? So, when she's taking a little piece of you, just be glad she's not taking what you actually owe her.

Maybe, maybe not. Some amount of land will be held for you, if you are placed, but it may not be the amount...

This is the first time I went to the Dios de las Muertos in Fruitvale. Usually I go to the Oakland Museum--but it's closed for renovation.
I saw sand and shells and charcoal and animal skulls. As well as fruit, liqour, photos, water, and gera--no, wrong flower. corncobs, corn kernels, marigolds, I have got to get into my studio more often

t's odd. I have no problem getting to work. I don't notice it very much. But my therapist visits me monthly from San Francisco, and I don't think he'll be here tomorrow.

...we have had posters put up in out bathroom, teaching us how to wash our hands. It's the usual thing, you don't want to touch anything that might have germs. (Hey, at least there's no command to sing "Happy Birthday.") So you wash your hands, dry them, and then use the towel to turn off the water. Yes, you've just left the water running while you dry your hands.
And somebody has written something to the effect of "Don't leave the water running, we must protect this important resource."...

In the early, early nineties there was a one season wonder show called "The Money or the Gun." I don't know why they were called that. I don't know what kind of show it was, even, all I know is that it was from the Australian Broadcasting Company (or ABC) and that every episode they featured a different band covering "Stairway to Heaven."
