Miss Dana Marlese Achtem was born in Calgary, Alberta. After completing her Advanced Diploma at Saint Mary’s High School she promptly attended the University of Lethbridge where she secured a Bachelor of Science from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in the field of Geography. It was through her university career that she developed her passion and her aptitude for observing, recording and transforming multidimensional information into a recognizable two dimensional format. Skills developed in sketching, photography, digital imagery and design. Relocating to Vancouver British Columbia Dana Marlese tapped into the electronically digitized community of Digital Fine Art and Design. As of late, a career in the medium of concrete has grounded Dana Marlese. She has developed a diverse skills set relating to placing, shaping, finishing, and colouring concrete. Projects accredited; The Castlegar Rotary Club Skateboard Park the Craft Connection main floor and the Nelson Lions Club Water Park. At this point in time Dana Marlese is gravitating back into the realm of Digital Fine Art and Design...
