This event will include DJ's, Live Music, Activist Speakers, and Visuals of the Tibetan Struggle.

Starting from March 10th, 2008, the world has seen a heavy crackdown on Tibetans by the Chinese Authorities. Since Beijing restricted international media following the recent surge of rioters inside Tibet, the first envoy of independent journalists were allowed in only to be greeted by the desperate pleas of monks under severe repression.

Right now Tibetans are rising up globally in bold and outspoken protests against the sixty-years of illegitimate occupation of China, despite risking arrests and tortures. 2008 is a huge year for Tibetans as the world turns its spotlight on Beijing for the Olympic Games in August.

On April 9th, 2008, the Olympic Torch will pass through San Francisco, its ONLY stop in North America! Join Cyphertown and Giveback to stand in solidarity with Tibetans and help raise funding for the March to Tibet, a non-violent campaign to bring Tibetans exiled in India back to their homeland. Bloggity Thing

So, Mardi Gras is just about over, and Lent is almost here

I'm giving up politics for 40 days

9 Months from now we'll have an election, plenty of time for Hillary and Barack to bear a love child and run as co-presidents which will ensure a Democratic victory

Baby Obama-Clinton will be the Fourth Clinton to hold our nation's highest office

So I was all ready to go to this wedding in Santa Cruz, I like that my old girlfriends invite me to their weddings...
And then I got a call, "Dayn committed suicide, his service is today".
FUCK!
A thousand scenes of better days on the beach and in the woods run through my head.
My mind is spinning, Dayn was such a good guy, how could that happen, a handsome man with everything to live for, beautiful girlfriend, great business, heart and soul,
Much love to the bredren,
See you in the nex... read more

Two peace activists have planned a massive anti-war demonstration for the first day of winter.

But they don't want you marching in the streets. They'd much rather you just stay home.

The Global Orgasm for Peace was conceived by Donna Sheehan, 76, and Paul Reffell, 55, who live together on a houseboat along scenic Tomales Bay in Marin County, just north of San Francisco.

Their immodest goal is for everyone in the world to have an orgasm on December 22 while focusing on world peace.

I just worked for The Australian Pink Floyd Show last night, the biggest Pink Floyd tribute band in the business.
It ws a surprisingly big production, these guys are really into re-creating the stadium concert experience in small venues.
There are some serious Pink Floyd fans out there...
Who's your favorite tribute band?

The picture is from their website

So, they let the pig go at a show back east and some commercial jet pilot reported seeing a flying pig at 30,000 feet, so the FAA grounded him for evaluation until it was learned that a 16 foot inflatable pig had indeed been released from the show under the pilot's flightpath that night!

Excellent show...
Roger was having a great time pounding it out on bass, sounding great on vocals, the sound was so clean, extra delay speakers on the concourse for the full quad audio effects, every litt... read more
