I kind of gave up a bit on this whole blogging lark there didn't I. In fact, I'm really only writing this to take a break from the interminable filing that I've been doing today.

So, what's been happening, I don't hear you ask. Far too much to really elaborate in these forums but suffice to say I'm seeing light at the end of a tunnel. Last weekend, this weekend and the weekend after have been or will be pretty special. I can feel it in my bones.

The Midsummer Nights Mayhem party was a whirlwind of activity, people old and new, emotions, feelings, tea, fabulous costumes, awesome decor, organisation and chaos. Truly an evening lodged in the conscious, subconscious and unconscious.

In my life in general the last few weeks have thrown up a few oddballs but despite, or more likely because of, this I've felt much of a bond and connection with people I am lucky to call my friends.

Going through the shit helps one to smell the roses that grow from it. It's a lesson I already know but it's often good to get a nudge from life.

So, in essence, big up to all you bad selves who I have in my mind right now. And thank you.
