tour tales: part one, west coast USA

ok, so now that i am across the border i am going to stop being so cryptic...

i rocked portland last weekend, an dit was utterly amazing. the party was in this mad yoga space with three rooms, free vegan food, and underground theatre/science/philosophy presentations. met a ton of crazy heads who showed me many bizarre things i never knew about science, anthropology, medicine, computers, and anciente civilizations. got some reiki for my chest, swapped music and inspirations with sean, w, molly, and the lovely michelle, and really felt at home for once. as horrendous as the government is, the american people are amazing. this is truly a great nation.

however, the best news of all is definitely the fact that

MY MOTHER IS NOW CANCER FREE!!!!!!

i am flabbergasted...

it is like knives have been lifted from my soul... huge, sharp, devestating blades raping my innards... no longer! she will live!

i felt really awful being so far away from her while she was dealing with such madness, but everything had been planned, contracted, and deposits paid, so what could i do? knowing that she is alright has made everything so much easier to handle.

this weekend i played at mighty in san francisco, it was rated the ..1 new club in the USA by urb magazine, and i totally understand why, it was the first big club i have ever been to that i would gladly attend on a regular night! it is in this out of the way warehouse district of SF, holds about 800 people, huge high ceilings, hardwood floors, tons of art, graffiti murals on the gigantic speaker towers, projecitons everywhere, 3 rooms, and the nicest people i have partied with in ages. the stamps at the door even said 'thank you' instead of "PAID", it was amazing. the seismic crew has been really making us feel welcome here, murph even treated myagi and i to a night of 2-cb at a lingerie party.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!?

2-cb has been on the top of my list of research chemicals to test, and a lingerie party was quite possibly the most rockstar-fear-and-loathing-extravaganza venue for it. i was totally blown away by the absurdity of the whole thing. i even saw lingerie clad fractals in bunny ears... it was out of control. if you ever need to raise money for your burning man camp, thhat is the way to do it, holy mother of god...

so debaucherous...

we managed to escape without any exotic stds, and i met up with dave veler and dave tipper to grab tunage. the new tipper albums are completely ridiculous, i could not recommend them more. get on it.

shouts and thanks to:

sean conlon, michelle de la cruz, w, molly, mate and the portland crew, murphstar, judith, nicole, myagi, andrea, vespers, david, emily eng, lisa, everyone who came out to the seismic party, lorin bassnectar, pete bassbin, dave veler, dave tipper, pia, and everyone i forgot.
