The Bliss of a religious life is attainable by everyone who walks in the noble eightfold path. He that cleaves
to wealth had better cast it away than allow his heart to be poisoned by it; but he who does not cleave to wealth and possessing riches, uses them rightly, will be a blessing unto his fellows. It is not life and wealth
and power that enslave men, but the cleaving to life and wealth and power. The monk who retires from the world in order to lead a life of leisure will have no
gain, for a life of indolence is an abomination, and lack of energy is to be despised. The Way of the Teacher does not require a man to go into homelessness or to resign the world, unless he feels
called upon to do so; but the Way of the Teacher requires every man to free himself from the illusion of
self, to cleanse his heart, to give up his thirst for pleasure, and lead a life of righteousness. Whatever men do, whether they remain in the world as artisans, merchants, and officers of the king, or retire from the world and devote themselves to a life of religious meditation, let them put their whole heart into their task; let them be diligent and energetic, and
if they are like the lotus, which , although it grows in the water, yet remains untouched by the water, if they struggle in life without cherishing envy or hatred, if they live in the world not a life of self but a life of truth, then surely joy, peace, and bliss will dwell
in their minds.

From the moment you rise to the moment you rest you tell yourself a story. I need to piss, poop, brush teeth, shower, shave, coffee, breakfast..and head off into my day..is how most self stories ought to begin. In the data file of yourself are bits and pieces of other peoples stories..The Today show is on telling you the fear and gloom of the world, or perhaps some nice music is playing instead.
You Grandmother's view of the world is there..gotta make mass or Jesus won't like, and Jesus or Mohammed or Buddha's view of the
world is there. Maybe your a witch because of Samantha Stevens from bewitched. bits of info floating around in your head like junk.
All nicely packed or unnicely packed in labeled or unlabeled boxes..

Basicly if you go backwards towards Beginners mind..you find a formula something like this..Image fleshed by Naming Idea's and a
Naming Idea can be an Image x depth of Desire- Desire which has two parts acting in tandem- A) contemplation, consumption,
digestion, rejection which can happen at any point partially or wholely, ending at Satisfaction at which point the whole process happens all over again. The emotion happening in the present moment- oh i liked that or Ugh i didn't or even someone elses emotion of Happiness or fear on a subjection can cause us to accept or reject things. The buddhists cause this Klesha which translates as the stickness of the event that causes karma or things to repeat. Desire has been called Gods instriment and the devil
it gets blammed for everything..but is a lovely part of freewill..so the whole formula looks like this. Image fleshed by naming ideas and a naming idea can be an image x depth of desire = thought into action into form. This is the subprogram running in everyones head at the same time. It leads to the craziness in the world called Samsara. The basic elements of this program can be observed
happening in animals as well as humans. Now your gonna ask well what about God? there is a lovely book called the social theory
of magic. Which basicly although very thick and heavy puts out the point that all rituals and religions are basicly reciepe compositions by artists that are then copied by others to use as a "Magic" solution. It is interesting and possible now to watch meme's flow across the world, meme's being the transfer of ideas from one person to another by looking at religions..idea's that
originate in India gradually flowed into the med and vice versa. Ideas being concepts that define unknowns..so your view of the word
God might be Goddess or Tao..The Creator, The Creatress, The Creative...any label and of course the definition that goes with it
limits or expands the power of idea held within the bounds of its ( ). Most people are not awake,. nor do they attempt to be, rather they
rush here and there in their self stories colliding with others stories klesha creating karma and so you see the world as it is today. However alond with this some people are awake and are conciously writing self stories.. So you see things like buddhism or
Science of mind or the collective hive of minds acting in tandem like beliefs such as say Indian Pow wows, or The republican or Democratic parties. Ideas can be very powerful things..

Originally this concept of reality came from reading Joseph Campbell, Krishnamerti, Gandhi, buddha, Jesus etc. one day i just
doodled Image fleshed by naming idea's x depth of desire=thought into action into form.

You also should perhaps visualise a flower in your hand, consider how it got there from seed or before to it crumbleing to dust,
consider your hand descend through the skin past the ligements down into the bones and blood vessels entering the cells, going deeper into the maze of whirling atoms and sub atomic particles until you you reach the space of spirit. In the same way go outwards
towards the moon and stars from your hand holding the flower..into the depths of space...until you reach the space of spirit..
pretty cosmic eh?
