I think Diana is one of the most Honest, sweet and talented people I know...She freely gives away her knowledge of the Arts, Make up and Belly Dance, and many others I am sure...but it in such a graceful and loving way...It is much appreciated and I have learned so much from her...Also, watching her from beginning Belly dancer to a quite talented more experienced dancer...with so much confidence and willingness to learn...
I enjoy having her in class with me..and as a friend..

about me
I love anything to do with the arts. I am an artist (pencil portraits) and a performer. I love to perform in any capacity. I am a storyteller, a dancer, and my training in school was to be an actress (which I haven't done in some time). I love the energy you get back from an audience when the connection is just right, and I love the energy you get when inspiration hits and the creativity just keeps flowing through you (wish that happened more often).

This is why I feed my cat at night instead of morning (I leave his food out.). If he got used to me feeding him when I got up for work or school, he'd want to be fed at that time on other days too.

Sometimes I'm struck by a sense of grief so suddenly, and it's hard still. I was just about to call my mother to ask her to give my aunt a call on Mother's day because I know it will be a hard day for her, and as I was thinking of making that call and how I would ask, I realized it's going to be a hard day for me as well. It's hard as I'm typing this. I miss her so much....

I just booked a flight to Cairo for next week. We have our first spring break next week. When I went to Raqs Congress the weekend before last, I took a couple of workshops with Yasmina of Cairo, and she told us about her Bed and Breakfast there. It's not expensive, and so I checked on flights. I'm going to stay three nights there next week. I'm so excited!

In art history class, no less. Someone was giving a presentation on Delacroix's Medea, and it struck me how similar to La Llorona the tale was. So, I'm thinking of doing a painting of La Llorona based on paintings of Medea.

I purchased the wrong hard drive. I researched "Portable Hard Drive" (I always research first), I checked reviews, and I found the best price on the item in question from a seller with good ratings. However, I did not look at all the specs. I looked to see if it was compatible (I don't have USB 2.0 on my old laptop), but I took for granted that the 3.5" was the size (sounded about right for a portable).
