We're moving to Rockville, MD this weekend.

After 10 months of trying to get out of the event industry and looking for a full time position in Baltimore city, Baltimore County, Howard County and Anne Arundel County, I came up with one interview to sling coffee part time and didn't get the job. Also, I lost what's probably the best job I ever hated [Sonar].

After 3 weeks of looking for full time work in Rockville MD, I've had five interviews less than two miles from our new home. I have three solid offers. The other two jobs have a second interview lined up.

Also after living in the burbs for one week while I did interviews, a tree branch fell on my car.

I'm still stoked... the new place is awesome! It's clean. It's got hardwood floors, a big back yard, two sheds, five bedrooms, and a really nice kitchen. It also comes complete with a family of wild foxes living under the sheds... but they'll keep the dog busy.

I'm going to miss those of you who were cool to me, and more lately, those of you who grew to know my new wife Irina. We love you guys and we will keep in touch. You all know my life has been pretty off balance since I graduated college and I'm hoping to change that with the new place and the new job.

Also, if you came to the wedding, thank you cards are going to be a little late until we get adjusted. : )
