While riding the Comet trail today,
training for the BRAG bike ride across GA,
a DragonFly joined me in my speed ride up
the straight path around mile marker 11.

I thought it was a coincidence at first.
I looked over and he was just beside my shoulder,
buzzing along.
I sped up, he sped up,…
I zigged a little, then he showed me a thing or two.
He started to zig/zag between the trees, by the path!
I thought I left him in the trees, then he got right
back on trail again, beside my shoulder!! again !!

I sped up, he sped up,…
I looked over at him again, and I swear it seemed
like he gave me a nod, then he just blew past me,
and left me to eat his dust.

So look out for the Dragonfly Dragster around
mile marker 11, on the Silver Comet trail,
he’s got a taste for speed, and he means business!
