Apache/Comanche-Teutonic/Celtic warrior water nymph. I like to make things, so that when armegeddon comes and this earth shrugs it's mighty shoulders and is rid of most of us, I will be able to rebuild. I don't buy into the idea that we need all this stuff to fix us, detest most commercial culture, and believe that corporate imperialism is destroying the human spirit.
In general I am drawn to those who've developed thier own sensibilities. People who have had to grow through something. People are so much more interesting when they are not getting what they want.

The planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting in August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye and will culminate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am . It will look like the earth has 2 moons. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Share this with your friends as NO ONE ALIVE TODAY will ever see it again.
I miss that sleepy port town. All rainy and creepy and miserable and rich in it's deciduous detritus.

Periodically, i get these messages from the Seattle Weekly, even though when I lived there I did not read that paper cause it was the more corporate of the weekly rags. Still, it's hard to resist the "best of Seattle" issue.. Particualrly when it seemes focused on the maritime businesses and thier sea-faring counterparts. I love the fucking sea.
