Falling Man
I'm not sure why. I rarely read serious fiction--at least nor unless it's serious science fiction--but I recently picked up and read Falling Man by Don DeLillo. The Falling Man of the title refers to the people who fell to their deaths from the towers and a performance artist in the story who dressed in business clothes jumps from buildings with a harness on and assumes the position seen in the famous series of pictures of the man falling from the North Tower on 9/11 by Richard Drew.
