You can always use a finer grit sandpaper to make it smoother too.

...and I've been riding it this week in an effort to be more active. I rode 8 miles on Monday and 11 miles today! With my new job working nights I have some good daylight hours to work out before I have to go in. This is particularly good because I get much better results exercising in the day. I'm just more energized when the sun is up! I'd love to loose 40lbs in about 4 months, like I did several years ago... the last time I've had this kind of motivation.

3/3/2008: OMG, I've gotten results already! On Saturday I discovered I can fit into my old 34" shorts and pants. It's been about 2 years since I've been able to do that :)
