Yeah Chris Sarandon was a hella sexy vampire. And Roddy MacDowell was a perfect Van Helsing character; his conscience requires him to fight tho he's sure he'll lose.

It was apparent that the Shattuck store wouldn't last long, but still a loss.
Check out Book Zoo near Telagraph & Adeline, they're newish and struggling to make a niche.
