Last year, BreakBeatBuddha dropped his debut album, Mind Bombin', showcasing a new take on the breakbeat sound. This UK producer (now residing in San Fran) is receiving recognition internationally with DJs and producers everywhere (such as Bassnectar, Stereotyp, Glitch Mob) pushing his signature sound. The beats are sexy, heavy, full of wompin bass and totally pushing the breakbeat envelope. We're thrilled to be bringing this new artist to Vancouver for his first BC performance.

We've also lined-up Jay Wikid to compliment the thick and twisted glitched out sound. Jay's most known for his work with Lorin Bassnetar on the track "Select Frequency" (featured on Lorin's last album and even picked up by MTV). Jay's sound blends hip hop and crunk with the freshest west coast style of warbled bass lines that make you shudder.

This year at Easter it isn't just the son of God that's rising again. The Inner City Commune (ICC), who brought you the Creeps and Cougars Party and the Chai Lounge Dome at Burning Man, are bringing back the old school in an event that tops the wall.

Resurrection is a party in honour of everything that you once loved.

Resurrect that old hairstyle, outfit, attitude, love interest or favorite slang phrase. Run around all night flashing peace signs at everyone and saying the vibe is groovy or bring out those amazing punk leathers from the 90's. Break out that ghost buster tee or slap on those raver pants...cause we're bringin' it all back baby.

Our DJs are digging through their old crates to bring you an evening of WTF nostalgia. Expect a good dose of those tunes that got you partying in the first place.

All proceeds go towards the ICC Burning Man camp (so you'll get it all back on the playa anyway).
