As y'all may, or may not, know I've been scripting a series of comic adaptations of classic works of literature. The two books I've scripted so far are Tom Sawyer, and The Odyssey. I just uploaded a butt-load of behind-the-scenes images to my flickr account, and figured I should hype the project (which should drop next year) a bit. Take a look: www.flickr.com/photos/53807115@N00/sets/ And, please (please!) do not reproduce these imag... read more

The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all convictions, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity. Surely some revelation is at hand; Surely the Second Coming is at hand. The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out When a vast image out of Spiritus Mu... read more

I get nervous about my writing, and it's hard to get anyone to read a 170 page script for free, so I was very please to see this. "Are your sure Tim isn't you in disguise? His ultra-specific and erudite stage directions in the Tom script certainly have your obsessive nature! I loved the script. It was light and spare and and fun yet still conveyed perfectly all the... read more

I like and admire this smartguy tribepal quite a bit..... especially, but not only, for these reasons, from his "50 fun & completely true facts" about himself:
5. My brother and I once kicked in all the basement windows. My response to my mom when she found us was "What do you expect from us midgets?" 26. I understand that 'begs the question' really means to skip over a disputable argument, not to actually ask a question. (Yayyyy Tim!! Thank god SOMEONE still knows this!)

Any man who is concerned about fungal issues is a man for me. Pure symphony, Tim is. All realism, positivity and light. He is whom I seek when I forget the value of things... when truth feels distant... when humor feels like an impossibility. Tim reminds me of magic. Its healing power. And the beauty of living day to day, sensitively aware but not cynical.

Tim X-13 is many things to many people (as one can tell by examining his pictures):
Uniquely talented washboard maestro. Gun-wielding maniac. Elegantly attired bearded man. Cheery online raconteur. And Batman. Oh, crap. Shouldn't have added that last part. Sorry Bat- TIM! Tim X-13! Not Ba- Right. Tim! Heh, heh, heh. So, er. I- Well. Um. Okay, sorry 'bout that. Really sorry. I didn't- So . . . anyway. Moving on. Tim's a grand fellow and you'd be lucky to make his acquaintance. ... Please don't kick me out of the Batcave for this, Tim. I mean, uhhhh . . . the BatCONDO.
