So I chopped 11 years worth of dreads the other day. I was just over it and now I feel unencumbered and free. Its nice not being the guy everyone looks at when they smell herb on BART! I plan to grow it out shaggier, but for now I'm undercover.... Note the shiner from a brawl the night before... Once a hooligan, always a hooligan!

I hope that "everyone" has a fun, safe time. I'm a busy guy this year and plan to play by the rules. My job is going to keep me active and busy. So much has changed in my life in the last year, I keep looking forward for more change. No one's perfect, but we all try, right? I'm done manifesting my fears, that's for sure.... So.....tomorrow I turn 31 years young. My plans for the day include rolling with the crew to check out the latest Jarmusch flick, Broken Flowers (Bill Murray is the shit!) at the Embarcadero Cinema Center (7:30 most likely, if anyone else wants to tag along), possibly some sort of grub (Zantes!Zantes!), and then off to Xenodrome for my largest bday party ever, LeoDrome. Thumpin' beats, Rockstar Bartenders, and as always, FIRE!!! Thanks to Daktari for all the work on this kitty-fest! Hope to see you all there~!

Last Nights Dumpster Theme - Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate!

Last night Wendy and I co-manifested five different kinds of chocolate from the usual bins. Two different kinds of truffles, and 8 Ghiradelli triple chocolate bundt cakes ("almost better than sex!", as an old girlfriend used to declare), plus a buttload of quality scones. We've even befriended a store manager who gave us his number for the hook-ups!! Just keeps on getting better.... Here's to turning waste into endorphins!!! (As I take a bite out of a completely fused chunk of truffles for breakfast....mmmmm!)

San Francisco - Phase 2....BEGIN!!!

So, so many changes going on.....new home on the hill in bayview (I can see both bridges from my room!!), new friends in new scenes, old friends still rising to the top, a slightly dented, well-running 89 Honda Civic 4-door w/ a bike rack for free, my tank of a mountain bike which keeps on getting better (yaaa for my first trip over my handlebars in the middle of 3rd & cargo!!!), moving on from the dysfunctional world of Dan Dasmann (alot of you tried to warn me, but sometimes you have to find out yourself), and a full, free, healthy summer ahead full of time to play and explore. Oh yeah, and Carlos Santana for free @Stern Grove last Sunday!! Aaaarrr!! Getting out of the city and living in Sonoma (actually Kenwood, oh-lala!) for two months was very grounding (thanks JD!), surrounded by nature and solitude, with amazing bike rides in every direction. I realized that the one thing that can clear my head of any problem or person was pushin' pedal. Try it if your brain is backed up!! I just want to give a shout out to all my friends that have shown me their love, support, and affection over the last year, if I havn't seen or talked to you in awhile, hit me up. (415) 305-8679
