My Blog

I have been tying the double coin knot for years. Thanks go to the Two Knotty Boys for bringing that knot on the scene. It is flat, lovely, and has two nice loops to go back through as you rig. I can tie it with my eye closed. I also learned the trinity knot when I first started tying. Along the way I have learned all kinds of useful knots. Each one required that I sit down and study and repeat it until it was well set in my memory.

I’ll confess the first Knotty Boys class where they taugh... read more

The Hogtie

Come join us for an interactive session of rope bondage and learn how to create a hogtie. You will learn hands-on how to easily and effectively hogtie your partner. We will combine basic Japanese rope techniques to step-by-step bind your partner. Everyone will have ample time to practice and become comfortable with the tie.

I was in Bristol, Cambridge, Paris, Grenoble, Eindhoven, Munich and Frankfurt... read more

So I am relying on using an electric kettle for instant soup prep. I also have a small espresso maker that will give me my Coffee I.V. drip in the morning.

In year past I have used tasty bites and rice packets. They can be easily heated by the sun on or under your car windshield. So ... read more

Well I am one card shy of a deck. But this one is better than the last one.

They say that the mind measures time with the slowly dampened oscillations of a network of very highly interconnected neurons. This is not unlike the waves in a pond after a stone is thrown in. The network actually has crossing patterns like when two stones are thrown in. We do not go tick tock, we tie everything to events and memories. This is why time is so subjective.

Time has slid by, things are always chan... read more
