I've not bashed anyone. I've stated the way I feel about the situation and will not be hounded by loyal followers of the past instructor. I wish them all the happiness and success in the world.

I'm moving on to bigger and better things... Those who can't accept that are the ones who have a definite problem.

<div>Well, after all the BS from the instructor I WAS taking with...I've decided ( with lots of input from you all) to move on.

My new target (or goal rather) is to try my hand/hips at tribal fusion. I'm supposed to take my first class this Thursday night. I feel like a beginner all over again!

I hope that my 2 years of Cabaret were not a loss....;)</div>

Dancer: Searching for a stage to dance on.

<div>Oh boy, this is gonna so sound like a whine that it's not even funny. Well, maybe it is...

I've taken lessons from my instructor for 2 years now. I've seen all these girls come from classes that started a year or so ago move up to the dance troupe, but, there's still like 6 of us girls who would just love to be offered the chance to dance! All of us have been dancing for at least the 2 yr mark.

I asked my instructor why...and she told me " it wouldn't be fair to the girls in the troupe who put in all those hours of work and practice..."

Now, mind you that if one of us were offered a place in the group any or all of us would bust our asses and put in all the time in the world required. I told her that that was not an acceptable answer. I then thought of telling her that I could plan a show in town that would allow for all level and type of bellydance. (She doesn't let the tribal girls dance in her shows)

She stuttered a bit, then made it sound like I was trying to oversaturate the market so her shows wouldn't do as well!!!

So help me, I've worked on this woman's shows for 2 years and she still just considers me a fan! She even put in her latest program that "Tonda and Jim are always so much help...they're such big fans of our shows."

I'm livid!!! I'm disappointed and I'm hurt. She always says the next time it will be different...but it never changes.

Not to mention that all the girls in the troupe are lithe girls. (She has one large dancer as token I guess)

I'm larger, I'm not getting any younger and I wanna DANCE!

I'm considering dropping her classes and taking from a different style teacher.</div>

<div> I don't know why I keep going to work. I sell and customers keep bringing the stuff back! The point of buying something (especially after trying it on a couple of times) is to keep it.

My sales goals are climbing because all the returns are added to my daily goals....hence making me work harder to meet the numbers. The numbers, you may be wondering are what we have to consistantly meet to keep our current hourly wage.

You see, if our goals aren't met, we lose 10 percent of our current hourly pay.

This doesn't take into account returns, time we spend stocking or rearranging the floor, or lack of customers.

I feel like I'm digging a hole that keeps filling in on top of me.

So, with that said....I'm off to the mines...</div>

<div>My husband, myself and a friend bought tickets yesterday to go see the outdoor drama in Cherokee, NC.

It rains like all hell allllll day and then stops suddenly a couple of hours before showtime.

We show up at the theatre and take our seats only to have the power conk out and the show never starts. They roust all of the people out of the theatre and tell them as they hand out slips of paper..."this is how you get a refund".

What this process is..."we'll get you another ticket for another show, or it could take up to a week before we could refund your credit card."

The show ends this weekend. I don't have another chance to go again and I'm damned unhappy that I had to fork out the money for the tickets right away, but they get to keep it for a week before sending it back!!
