Look below this one (assuming, of course, that it is accepted into the fray) and you will see that there has been no testimonial written for Joshua in quite a while. This can be owned to a simple statement with a not-as-simple answer: words cannot describe Josh (that's the first bit), becuase Josh owns all the words. Talking, emailing, texting, whatever you kids do these days- converse with Josh and falling behind is like riding a motorcycle: its not a matter of whether you will, but when. Accept this fact early, get over it, understand that there is such thing as an "endearing asshole", and go get a cup of coffee with him; becuase he's not only a bad-ass, but a damn good friend.

I would recommend Josh to anyone. I very much like him, and respect his judgement. I like his schnoz, his very interesting tattoo, his pants. I find him to be witty and sensible, sexy arty and nerdy by turns. He also has impeccable dress sense. I want to alert any similarly generous funny kind caustic brainy woman to his presence on Earth. If you are a sexy astrophysicist or similar 99th percentile type, you'll find him worth your while. This boy can hold his own in a conversation. Also, he is good at board games and knows what good cheeses go with good wines.

Joshua is incredibly difficult, though I say this with the utmost affection. For 10 years (and more!) he's prodded me on to become my better and best self, challenging me and dragging my mewling mind into new realms of growth and understanding. I've never known anyone more loving and loyal, and I've never known anyone more exciting to talk with. He's not inclined to complacency, he's not tolerant of foolishness. But he's invested everyone and everything that he loves, and he loves with passionate abandon. We're partners in crime, Josh and me, and I adore him.

Joshua is a great guy. He let me live with him and feeds me. He is a great chef. But i was starving in North Korea so anything that doesn't taste like branches is great to me. I am so glad that he adopted me, but i hope he doesn't get weird on me and Woody-Allen our relationship.

Joshua glows. You know anything is possible when he’s there. He’s smarter then fuck. Not the dull kind of awkward book smart. Rather the kind of smart that’s downright life affirming. He’s morally opposed to people selling themselves short. If you’re lucky enough to have him as a friend, the rewards are great.
