Willi Ninja - the legendary godfather of voguing (1959 - 2006)
Willi Ninja, the godfather of voguing, Harlem ballroom legend, founder and mother of the House of Ninja, dancer, choreographer and singer passed away Saturday morning, September 2nd from AIDS related causes. He was best known for being featured in the 1990 award winning documentary "Paris Is Burning". I must have seen that film fifty times (that's a conservative estimate). He was forty-five. His presence will be sorely missed.
