Limited-edition Tribe T-shirts are sent to annual premium membership subscribers (that is, those who signed up on the $50/year program) and those who purchased them separately between November 2007 and November 2008. To date, we have sent out the first run of 500 t-shirts to those who subscribed or purchased as of April 2008. Another run of T-shirts with a new design is in process and those will be sent out as soon as they arrive to us.
If we do not have your address (as in the case of upgrade orders) or if your package is returned due to an invalid address, we will contact you for the correct information.
If you believe you should be receiving a T-Shirt and have not yet received it, please e-mail premium@tribe.net and we will look up the status of your shipment.

knowledge of infringement or make Tribe.net aware of facts or circumstances from which infringing material or acts are apparent.
On receipt of the necessary statements enumerated above we will remove the allegedly infringing material. Please note that your content may remain in various caching search engines (such as Google's) for some time after it is removed from the site. This may be anywhere from hours to weeks depending on the frequency they update their index of the page in question. This is not something Tribe has any control over.

2. If the site is down, you'll usually see a maintenance page indicating whether the outage is scheduled (with an approximate time when the site will return) or unscheduled, in which case we won't usually know when the site will return (but it will, really it will!)
3.We have set up a twitter account to post updates on outages and services. Follow this account or twitter questions to it and we'll try to reply as soon as possible:

1. We unequivocally support the legal standard of the United States that everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
2. Everyone receives the benefit of the doubt. In the absence of clear evidence, the burden of proof is on the accuser.
3. NSA has no records of anything that transpired before 10 November 2008 other than what is in the Tribe database.
4. Any personal tribe messages that have been deleted are gone forever.
5. We will not scour the database of close to a billion messages looking for shreds of evidence of something that was admitted to and apologized for without a court order.
6. We will turn over any information we have in support of a legal investigation into criminal activity that occurs on Tribe.net
7. You are free to use Tribe to express your opinion and we will respect your right to free speech to the limit the law allows

If anyone has had their profile removed by the previous management for something other than obvious spam, please send the details to help@tribe.net
PayPal has a monopoly on trusted on-line payment systems like Microsoft does on operating systems and similarly there are quirks they don't have a lot of incentive to fix. One is that if your credit card expires or if you change or remove the primary or backup payment mechanism PayPal cancels all of your subscriptions. Until we can fix it, Tribe automatically updates subscription status based on PayPal's reports, including their cancellation reports. This means that if there is a change in status of your PayPal account you could be unsubscribed and lose your star. Please contact us and we will manually reinstate your subscription status for the remainder of your term. You should also notify PayPal in writing to customercare@paypal.com and let them know. Ask them to forward the feedback to their development group. We hope they eventually will address the problem on their side.
It is the responsibility of the tribe moderators to manage the speech in that tribe to their standards. We will support all moderators in managing speech within their tribes to any standard they choose to impose with every tool at our disposal. We will not manage a tribe at the request of any user for any reason except to remove prima facia illegal material as obligated by law. Please let us know if moderators appear to be remiss or absent, but your first and best alternative is to create your own tribe and to manage it to your own standards.
