a parasol flying lesson, and embedded youtube test

spent a mildly obsessive evening playing with parasols and video editing software the other day.
turns out that it's pretty fun, and i could dissappear for long periods of time doing so.

which in turn suggests that i won't be doing that many for a while,
as long periods of time are in short supply now.

i will continue to spend time on figuring out how to get this material distributed effectively,
as that appears to be one of the key skills of our day and age.

i'm reading a blog series by a friend of mine, tad hargrave.
he taught the radical business intesive i was at a few months ago, and has a variety of stuff up online.

the analysis reminds me of what i was thinking reading 'beloved' back in some sort of school situation ages ago.
that there is always a cost to privilege.

also reminds me of the (rather perverse) relief when i found out about some ancestor that was armenian, and learned about the not very recognized genocidal situation that armenia suffere(s/d) from the ottoman empire... yay liberal white guilt ameliorated by a distant tie to some other vast oppression. (note- fully aware that this does not grant me any pass in the privilege dept.)

2. In the event that a Registrant’s Registrar is no longer a Registrar,
has had its certification as a Registrar suspended, revoked or terminated,
or in the event the registrar agreement between CIRA and
the Registrant’s Registrar (the “Registrar Agreement”) is terminated or expires,
the Registrant shall be responsible for changing such Registrant’s Registrar
to a new Registrar in accordance with the applicable Registry PRP
within thirty (30) days of the earlier of notice thereof being given to the Registrant by
(i) the Registrant’s Registrar or (ii) CIRA in accordance with the applicable Registry PRP;
provided,
however,
that if any of the Registrant’s Domain Name Registrations are scheduled to expire within thirty (30) days
of the giving of such notice, then the Registrant shall have an additional thirty (30) days
from the anniversary date of such registration to register with a new Registrar.
If the Registrant wishes to renew such Domain Name Registration,
the Registrant will be required to do so through its new Registrant’s Registrar in accordance with the applicable Registry PRP.
