As a dancer, I've hit a plateau. I have no one to study with in my area that can challenge me to move further as an artist. Sure, I can go to a class and drill, but I am not pushed to expand myself and step outside my "dancer box". It's a bit dark (as most restaurants/clubs are... but enjoy!!! 
Story - we met at Silvia's DVD release party last July at Cafe Layal, went to dinner at Papasito's after, but didn't become an item until October. This pic was taken May 16 at Cafe Layal at another Silvia DVD release, we had dinner at same Papasitos, we went home, Steph got on her knees with a rose in her hand and asked me to marry her. We are planning a private ritual in October and a public ceremony after she moves up to DFW early next year.

I've been bellydancing for approximately 6 years. I have 12 years of classical ballet, jazz and modern dance training as well. My bellydance training is in American Cabaret, ITS and Tribal Fusion. I am a Dark Fusion Performance Artist.

Obsidia is my best friend, my sister, my partner in crime. She reminds me to laugh in the face of danger and fear, always think two steps ahead, enjoy the here and now, and remember who I am at all times regardless of what happens around me.
I am so immensely honored to be her dance partner and her best buddy. Without her, life would not only be less interesting, it would be downright humdrum. She is the most beautiful dancer I have ever danced with and the most wonderful gal pal ever ever ever. I love you, Obi! March 10, 2008

Workshop! I think Obsidia is wonderful, she is so funny !
I felt at home with her and didn't feel intimitated by her presence. I learned quite a few tricks of her trade and hoping I can remember all of it! She was great, and I loved the vampire walk, forgot what you called it, and loved the neck swoop with the neck half circle. I wasn't quite sure how they were done, but am so glad you taught us that too! Looking forward to something else! It was a long trip since Mapquest should be put in the garbage!
