My mom (who lives with me because she's disabled) is a heart patient-so after much bitching and pleading, they're having a tech make a special emergency trip to fix my A/C. Apparently, people are having so many issues with the stupid heat that techs are backed up until next Tuesday!!!
You know, owning a house is awesome-except when you have to pay for repairs....
Oh, on a YAY note-I haz a date tomorrow night (Friday the 13th-fitting, no?)...we'll see how it goes but so far he and I have hit it off smashingly....

I can do without a lot of things, but a/c isn't one of them. Must. Have. A/C! It's been out in the end of the airport terminal I work in for a week & it's been around 100 degrees with high humidity. Color me miserable. You have my sympathy!
And I want a date! |

run out and get a mister set, they are at nursurey supplu, if you set it up outsside your doors and windows it will take things down 10-20 degrees. Its a so hum air conditioner.

you have my sympathy. My a/c has been worked a grand total of two days since the major heat we've been having. The a/c guys have been out 3 times and it's still not fixed. I hope you have a/c soon!!

well apparently the mtor conked out in the A/C..BUT the tech got it rigged to work until the part they need gets here......
so at least it will be livable in my home..sheesh.... |
