Tomorrow I leave for a 10-day meditation retreat at the California Vipassana Center.
www.mahavana.dhamma.org/index.htm
This is the second time I will be going on a formal meditation retreat and I feel this time will be of greater benefit, now that I know what to expect and the nature of the practice.
Each of you will be part of my daily metta practice and I say, May you all be happy.

about me
Born in New York City, raised in New Jersey to a Jewish family, the tradition I was brought up in until I completed Hebrew school and was Bar Mitzvahed at 13. I am no longer practicing, proclaiming agnosticism. I'm probably most aligned with the practices of Buddhism these days, if anything.
