I swim. A lot. Whenever I have time- and even when I don't have time. I don't think I obsess about it. hah. It's just that it feels so good! It doesn't happen every time. But when it does, I won't realize it until it's mostly over...I'll have been pulling through the water, breathing, watching and feeling the bubbles and wake move across me, and I'll realize I've just swam 2000 yards, the entire time thinking of NOTHING but what my body is doing, staying alive....reach, pull, reach pull, breath, reach, pull, reach, pull, breath! solitary, peaceful, medicine for my soul and body. this is my church.
update: my son and i have been training in aikido for the last few months. perfect for us both.
