TT puts the "G" in GVP. That is, he puts the goodness in the Good Vibe Posse! He's laconic to my loquaciousness, grouding to my flightiness, solid to my scatteredness. He just has that "je ne sais quoi" supah shiney blingy-bling thing about him that makes me feel pretty special basking in his afterglow. Not only that, he's a super fucking talented artist and makes a freakin' sexy rock star too!

TREIOPS TREYFID - ANIMALS OF THE FUTURE
Closing Reception: Saturday May 3rd 4-7pm
Mixed media, 3D and sculptural worksAll wild and exotic animals on our planet are under threat of extinction because of loss of habitat due to pollution, global warming, and human population growth. Fragile ecosystems are in serious peril all over the world and will pay a heavy price from the increased storms, floods, and coastal erosion that global warming will produce. So, who are the critters that will survive the coming catastrophe? They will be the ones that live with or near humans in an urban or semi-urban environment and use human garbage as a food source. These are the "Animals of the Future"; raccoons, opossums, rats, roaches, crows, coyotes, squirrels, sparrows, pigeons, deer, seagulls, lizards, rabbits, skunk, chipmunks, mice, feral cats, stray dogs and many other species. This show highlights and pays tribute to these overlooked noble survivors that live sometimes literally in our own backyards. The works are sculptural in nature and are made mostly of recycled elements but also include exotic materials and lighting.

Hi,

I'm looking for someone to help out during my art opening downtown on Tuesday night. I'm making some crazy artsy hors d'oeuvres and I need someone to occasionally walk around with one of the trays. The hors d'oeuvres are actually non-edible sculptures. Should be a very fun time. The opening goes from 6 to 9 pm and is at the MJ Higgins Gallery on 4th & Main.

Hey folks,

My friend Jimmy Bleyer wrote this great article about me and my show at MJ Higgins. It's in the new Citizen LA, which is a free arts paper.

Go to my homepage and then scroll down to the bottom of the NEWS section:

about me
I'm a lifelong artist. Lately I have been experimenting with recycled and exotic materials making Contemorary Assemblage. I like to make strange music as well. I'm generally optimistic though I see some massive changes coming in our lifetimes that will challenge all of us and reshape the way we live. I'm at happiest and my best when I'm in an environment that is good for idea generation. I'm here on Tribe.net to make connections with people and start a community of artists/friends. I've had some success meeting some people here and I'd like to keep that going. I have a web site with an online gallery and music available for download (www.treiops.com). Also, if you want to play tennis or racquetball or squash please contact me. I'd love to be able to play as much as possible.
