It's always so circular. I say to people I dance Arabic dance or Egyptian dance and they say oh you mean "belly dance"..well I could say folkloric as well but to say Oriental (e) or Raks Sharki and we end up back in the belly again.

Oh blessings upon Mandy and Chris for this event. Only 2 hours away in the depths of Yorkshire. For one of them as is used to flat coastal plains, I just lurve them hills and moors. Oh and I hear a suggestion Mandy had to improve the festival was to build a car park! Wot! Did this person not notice the bumps in the landscape that make that somewhat difficult...er...where for !!!!

...and still loving retirement. It's true...how did I find time to work! Gone into work when they were desperately seeking an old teacher and have so far "taught" music, drama (lots) art,english,french,german,spanish,maths,chemistry,HE,RE,business studies ,IT and even my own history and geography.

Not quite old enough for the free bus pass but time to quit the full time work and grasp that pension. Now this should mean more time for what I love..

the grand daughter, belly dance, travel, history, drinking coffee and reading that next novel . But it also means more time to dwell on the world and all its' ills........ So it's definately time to think postive and look for friends out there........... ..not to be fearful of grand designs and ventures
