My Testimonials

May 13, 2008
A BIG heart, beautiful hips, and loving energy. I met Sharon before I was able to take my first class with her and she has always made me feel good about myself as a person. It's hard to explain her magnetic passion for dance in words, but it is clearly seen and felt through her dancers when they perform! Since I've had the privilege of taking classes and being surrounded by her and all her sisters, I've been so inspired to work hard at pursuing my dreams in dance. I've not only learned technical moves from Sharon's classes, I've learned a lot about myself, passion, love, and I'm continuing to build confidence. There is so much left for me to learn and I'm grateful to have Sharon as my teacher. "A Great Master, creates Masters."

I simply must thank Miss Sharon, aka Rock Star for all her kindness and the kind words she has spoken of me! She always has a kind word to say about everyone and that is rare in our society. She is truly unique and genuine with a soul made of gold!

and not to mention what a rock star she is!

Sharon has inspired me as a dancer from the moment I saw her perform. I knew those were the dancin' hips that were meant to teach me tribal! She's one of those people who you see in her element teaching/performing, and you just know she's doing *exactly* what she was meant to do. She started out as my instructor, and as fate would have it became my troupemate, and most importantly my friend. The passion she shows for her calling inspires me to no end. I am truly a blessed girl to have such a beautiful, talented, sharing woman to count among my sisters! I love ya, Sharon! *MMMWAH*

I have never been a fan of April Fool's--a day celebrating making other people look ridiculous, humiliating them, or otherwise poking a stick at them for your amusement. I know, I am a big fuddy duddy. But I hate being embarrassed, and I do everything I can to avoid making people feel embarrassed, so why devote an entire day to doing just the opposite...and thinking it's funny?

Some of the clever jokes on the internet these days amuse me. Like the fact that all of YouTube's "Featured" vide... read more

Now on Thursdays *and* Sundays! Hi everyone, Classes are starting up again this week, and I have added a Sunday session for those who found Sunday worked better and/or for people who want to practice their new skills twice a week! Re: Burlesque/Bellydance rant by Miles on GS (in The Biz of Belly Dance) That was fascinating, Yasmin! Thanks so much for that!

If it is on a website resume, I would have a separate section for performances solo and performances with the group.
