They're both very talented. I prefer Cook simply because I think he's the more "mature" performer, and I come from a rock background myself, so I'm biased.
But they both deserve to win. |

Sorry!! He was/is good enough to win ... and probably any other year (except maybe the first year) he would've won. This year he faced off with someone who was absolutely dynamite all year. The only question I had was because Cook "dropped the ball" a bit on Tuesday (and Simon laced into him for it).
If the vote was for Tuesday only, it would've been Archuletta. I think most people voted for the whole season, though, and that's how Cook won. That, and he picked up all (or most) of Syesha's votes. |

Sorry, we in the Kansas City area (which includes Blue Springs!) had to support David Cook! But, BOTH are great! The duet, "Hero", they sang Wednesday night was fantastic. They need to do a CD together! AND, Cook didn't drop the ball Tuesday night and Simon apologized (first time ever) to Cook. I think Simon is just natrually cynical and it pops out very inappropriately at times. But, never fear. There are no losers at that stage of American Idol. Both Cooks probably have all kinds of singing deals waiting for them.
